Maybe that’s why the dev was talking about adding flamethrowers a few months ago

the last theatre they need, is Norway. a huge part of the early war, mostly ignored by any and all games. the mountainous areas of Narvik is perfect for S44. only game i have seen this part of the war covered by, is BFV

Yeah, it would be super great if other lesser known or covered Asia-Pacific battlefields and factions are added either via mods or official content. Dutch East Indies, the Philippines, Burma-India Theater, China (with both Nationalist and/or Communist factions), New Guinea with the Australian and New Zealand armies (granted, they'll be mostly using Commonwealth equipment, but digress). Even the 1945 Soviet Invasion of Manchuria would also be interesting, as to my knowledge no video game media has portrayed this battle so far. Some other factions and battlefields I'd also like to see whenever S44 returns to Europe are Hungary, Romania, Finland, Norway, Slovakia, Yugoslavia and even early-war Poland. These are factions and battlefields that are not covered that much in video games. Many of these factions also have unique and semi-unique equipment.

Considering Squad has a literal insurgency game mode, I don't understand why OWI doesn't port it to S44 and add in partisans and have an insurgency game mode that's related that way. Tons of areas you could do this with in the Balkans and southern France.

*Maybe I hope this brings players back, but as it stands I STILL can't reliably find a full game. Ever. I find small games with 10 people. The only answer I ever get from the community is "Play at the right time." like it's my job or something. Nope, not how gaming works, and this is the sole reason that the game isn't doing well. It's a tough place to break free from. They want new players, but new players are met with empty servers so they refund the game and never touch it again. Then the hardcore fanboys yell at the new players for being new and not liking empty servers. Very unwelcoming community and very poor new player experience. So something has to change. I'll suggest (and the fanboys will hate this) that they bring the game to Console and add in crossplay. That's a fast way to boost player numbers and you won't have empty servers anymore.

This is Huge and the game is bigger and better by the day but it just goes under the radar...we really need Huge KZreadrs promoting it or its just gonna keep flying low. Thats my opinion but i hope that im wrong and it blows up and gets recognised

Some other areas I'd love to see covered in the game, either via mods or official, would be Norway and China. Possibly even Poland and Czechoslovakia. I'm excited to see what else comes about now that interest in the game is starting to come back, and big mod devs are showing off the possibilities.

Imagen if Squad 44 would switch to Unreal 5. And when imagen, it being melted together with WW2 Online 2.0. I mean that would be amazing. Probably not a easy task. But for sure a success if the pull it of. I mean, that would really be amazing! And it would make a strong product, maybe faster, and also the chance to invite another company into the mix, making this the most ultimate WW2 tactical/simulator shooter ever! Who would now play 10-15 Dollars every month to play that amazing game? Kinda Work of warcraft just in WW2. It just sounds crazy amazing to me.

Yeah man, that is exactly what WW2O is trying to do... With "2.0" However, they need all the support they can get with 1.0... Long way to go bubba!

I'm going to throw out a mod idea with japan coming and all the soviet gear now available as assets the battle of khalkhin Gol the mongolian people's republic uniforms were near identical to soviet uniforms and its probably one of the if not the most forgotten battles of the second world war.

The only game that made the pacific theatre right was Rising Storm by Tripwire! (2013)

In my opinian the big thing they is not ingane to fly planes and chat with SL etc. To attack the ground etc.

Galactic Contention is already is Squad.. BUT... WHAT IF! In Squad 44 there was an Original Trilogy Star Wars Mod?! Clone Wars certainly lend itself to the "squad gameplay" perfectly, but I would still love to see The Battle of Hoth and/or Endor
