Soybean harvest has been going really well. Everything is moving fast. Because the fall was so dry, I had goals to be done earlier. Some things are completed much earlier, like bringing all the round bales home. I'm definitely ahead of the previous few wet years. I figure since I'm not covering thousands of acres that I would be done on the early side. Well, that's where side hustles come in to fill the time and sometimes delay other activities. I do need to remember that I finally finished the grain bins this year... but then the 2+2 comes to mind. If you're not busy and pushing the clock, then you might not be bringing home much bacon.

There is a manual override screw for the reel if the electrical doesn't work it is under the platform the book should cover how to adjust it cold oil makes it do some funny things but once you get to operating temp it will smooth out one of my two TRs have been manually adjusted for years hope that helps rather than adding something it already has

You are running that reel way to fast.. Wire in a knob variable seed control. In place of the obsolete New Holland switch

How do you send off your raw footage? If it is online, that's half of my holdup. My home Internet speed is horrendous. The other half is the editing software being old and killing time converting files from MP4 to work with them. The actual time I spend editing isn't bad.

@@boehmfarm4276 yes I send through Google drive. I used to have to go to the library or McDonald's to upload videos but we have fiber now. But I understand your struggle!

I sold that. Didn't use it enough. I can set a gravity box on the flatbed if I need to.

Exactly. Blanket farm policy at least covers liability on the road. Pulled three behind the tractor once. 600 bushel+ sold and no road tax.

@@boehmfarm4276 BTW- Love your channel. We are about two hours north of you, but very similar ground and practices. I particularly liked your comments about constantly using old equipment… so, so true. I am a ford man, but try to keep everything running (God willing and parts availability).
