Something I think is worth adding was the lucioball hero glitch where users could spam the "h" key on their keyboard to switch to a random hero in lucio ball, enabling them to kill the enemy lucios. It was fun while it lasted haha

Great video! I really appreciate the immense amount of effort put into finding and explaining these Overwatch phenomena. A few sugguestions: - It would be nice if you went into greater deeper over fewer topics regarding easter eggs or Overwatch culture (like C9, Lijang Spacesuit, Goats, etc) rather than briefly touching on a large amount of topics that don't have much meaning to them - It would also be cool if you could show the png of the iceberg with key topics shown so that we can see what you are intending to go over in each layer/how many layers there are during the video

everyone talks about paladins taking heroes from overwatch but let's not forget that sombra released after skye, and they are both purple invisible characters with fast firing primary weapons, and they changed bastion's ult to be viktor's ult, not to mention both the "torbjorn clone" and "reinhardt clone" were shown in the game before overwatch was announced

Something that i always found funny is that peopple just asume ow can't copy any other game, much less paladins Baptiste imortaliti field is like ash's ult but works like fernando's, his heal burst is like groover's old heal talent, and his weapon is like combat medic pip and burst mode viktor Hanzo's rework was basically made to be more like sha lin I can keep going Both games take inspiration on each other constantly and there is nothing wrong with it

Some clarification on Paladins : It's still alive and running today and it is a very different game from overwatch, with almost double the characters the roster is much more complex and original, the original characters could be compared to overwatch to an extent, but today the two games are different from each other, with overwatch even having some things Paladins had done before, like 5v5, or, very specifically a support hero with a blue fox. I play both overwatch and paladins and find both games to be enjoyable.

You can still play those assault maps in arcade sometimes Ps I love the tekken music at 5:29 that you can briefly hear for a second. I don't think most people noticed that one so I had to mention it.

Correction with the elo guardians. They were never an actual pro team, they would 6 stack in ranked with an extremely high winrate. Hence the name

Btw while playing comp in europe myself (Punisher) a support main in top 500, had ppl calling me out almost every game becouse they thought i was Ellie (the top 500 hitscan punisher ) was extremly awkward untill it died down after 1/2 months

His name is McCree. Also the real guy wasn't fired, he left. It's stupid that they change the name of a game character though just because it was named after a real guy. They're two separate entities. It wasn't modeled after him nor voiced by him so it doesn't matter.

This really well researched and I like to add some more stuff. This from my memory since I was around during that time period. The google trends video from 2017 for the most popular ship in the game with Cassidy x Hanzo being number 1. There’s video on twitter. The mercy pink skin A lot of controversy with mercy nerfs and changes. Including the rework mercy movement that was started by Content Creator Aria Rose. I remember this because they storm the OW forums. You can play the theme from futurama on the map dorado play as dva and shoot at the bells in the attack spawn. Tracers uh asset being nerfed down in one of the victory poses. Gremlin Dva meme Solider being a dad meme A lot of community made stuff on KZread and custom games. I think a someone made a little nature documentary series at some point but I’m gonna check. Those are mainly things I could recall. Overall this is a really good vid extremely well researched!

the voiceactor of brig getting harrassed by overwatch players always gets me XD like i can feel it, there was a time where brig was literally the "take away joy" card.removing her stun helped, but shes still a pain in the ass

Great first video! Though some of the points made were so uninteresting and useless that I had to rewind to make sure I didnt miss anything, I dont think they belonged on an iceberg video (such as the KSI one and others). They just felt like padding.
