I have this, it’s great, just wish the strap was black so it wasn’t so noticeable, the red strap stands out.

Really looking forward to seeing the maxtrax mount for the outback rear tyre mount, I’m keen to see how the maxtrax clear the rear door on the Prado 150

It's out and in the wild now - you can find it on our website. The Maxtrax only really work on the 150 running horizontal across the top, which was divisive when we posted it as a prototype teaser. In any other configuration they hit the lights. They do work with a rear bar on the 150, however.

Will this fit an American 5lb propane tank?

Hey Devonte, the thumbscrew clamps wouldn't work, but you could secure a propane tank provided the tank dimensions are roughly 305mm high by 650mm around / circumference.

I wish this was made for US tanks such as Flame King or Worthington. I like your mounting concept compared to US mounting versions on the market.

Yes we do! You can use the shipping calculator on the product page to work out shipping to your area. Otherwise, get in contact with Long Range America, they are our US distributor.

Does long range America still distribute this mount? I didn't see it on their website.

Except it is illegal to mount a gas tank in an impact zone.

Without knowing where you are based we can't fully refute this, but we can comfortably say in Australia at least, this is incorrect. There are guidelines and rules and regulations you should follow when determining the placement of gas, but this mount is not illegal. We are currently in the process of collating this information in a location easy for our customers to reference, and we can circle back to you once we have that live if you would like. .
