I can't believe how these creative Spongebob games with unique stories just disappear and are forgotten. This game legitimately had some great story ideas that we've otherwise never seen in Spongebob. Thanks for explaining this all this! I appreciate your narration.

I felt your nostalgia right with you lol. The manual thing was so relatable because I did that exact thing. It was probably cringe to everybody else but Goddamn did I love these games and the everything associated with them and I wanted to talk about it all the time. Seeing the ads in the back of the book made me emotional I can't lie. I remember my mom had to help me at points in this one because if I recall it's the hardest one, thinking wise to complete, so my nostalgia is so heightened on this one as it was the one I spent the most time on. A side note: AWE Games really understood the feeling of the show and the jokes always had the adult, clever vibe the first three seasons of the show did. I remember really liking the atmosphere as a kid and still do. It's great and it makes me long for the days of simpler point and click games like this. The windows joke makes so much sense now though, I always wondered what he meant as a kid and I should have known because I was a nerd who was obsessed with computers myself. Also I really liked your commentary, it was very fun. I was worried it was gonna be someone who wouldn't have the energy to do it justice but I was greatly surprised by how snappy and witty you were. Going to definitely watch the other videos now. Loved this, can't wait to further go down memory lane with you on this.

It's nice to finally see someone talks about the AWE Production Spongebob games, especially the The Movie game. It might not be a big platformer adventure like the console versions but it ended up working in their favor as being a point and click adventure makes the game more unique.

This game is pretty under-rated. Thank you for making a good positive review on it. It's unusual to me to see somebody even praise chapters 5 and 6 for being original, everybody just complains "this wasn't in the film". I do still think Chapter 6 was pretty unfitting, and there was no motivation to doing the task required. But Chapter 5 might be my favorite in the game.

8:09 Fun fact: I actually had fried ice cream once and this game is what inspired me to try it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good either. It was a C when using the letter grading system

Oh the nostalgia! I could never beat the final minigame as a kid and at some point my game bugged so it would freeze when it was time to pick up the crown. Can't find an easy way to get the game again.

One thing that bothered me just a little bit is that Patrick's presence felt a bit forced by the movie's plot but not so much embraced by AWE. Patrick didn't add much. It seemed like the devs wanted to get rid of him whenever they could. You'd play with just SpongeBob alone a couple of times. At least there was this exception in Shell City where you actually get to play as Patriçk for a bit and AWE made him a hero, which was great. But then when the two got back to Bikini Bottom and Patrick was written out of it again (he stayed with that news reporter), I really rolled my eyes. 😅

I played A LOT of spongebob games, like A LOT, most of the games that are present on your channel, in fact! And I started to unlock CORE MEMORIES after watching videos... And for some reason, a strange tingling memory make me remember that 1. The game in Russian (I was playing on Russian) also got official VAs 2. They aren't censoring Hasselhoff in russian version! I may be wrong on both since it was A LOOOONG time ago, but hey, I think it was like that, I'll redownload games and experience my childhood once again to check it!

I love this game so much, back in my childhood i don't have anything but somewhat crappy pc and this game (and all Spongebob games from Awe Games) bring me so much joy. I love foggy zone with hotel, cool and creepy atmosphere, my love for haunted hotels desperately appreciate this segment. Revolution sidestory is bizzare and i love it, in movie things happening too fast, but in game you FEEL that SpongeBob and Patrick travel very long way and been in very different places, thx you for covering this masterpiece ;)

...aww man this was my jam back on my old compaq computer, along with the finding nemo click n point game, 101 brainy games and space cadet 3d pinball! i enjoyed the console game but wasn't a fan of the cruel difficulty in later levels so i just left them for my older siblings to clock while i kick back and take my time on this godsend... until i reach the trench level, specifically the beginning area before you reach the hotel. cause of my curiosity and the arrow glowing over the two skulls in the tree area, i clicked on them, and boy did i have horrific but also interestingly creative nightmares afterward XD i was also terrified of entering the abyssal plain mainly cause of the hellish music that plays but the worst part was the area where spongebob decides to turn around because of the fog being too thick and this "grue" he mentions, (i didn't know the reference back then) i quickly pictured what this carnivorous creature would've looked like and my child mind ended up with an eldritch denizen: a huge greyish-blue-skinned seasnail with a hatchetfish's haunting face and a lamprey for a tongue and its shell is made out of the skeletal remains seen throughout the wasteland, and the beast disguises itself beneath the many piles, stalking for helpless prey just like the hungry frogfish mr. whiskers. and even after the fog has been lifted, i still get a sense of dread because of the lost fish you meet in the fog is now absent. i had always hoped the light shone just in time to guide the poor guy home safely or maybe he ended up living peacefully in an inaccessible room the hotel. also yes, that red fish in the hotel used to creep me out as well and thank neptune he's actually optional to talk to so i didn't have to see his spooky mug again XD

Man I remember having this game back in the day and everytime I beat the last part of the game of hitting those notes, spongebob would say "something's happening!..." And the screen fades to black and all of a sudden the credits for Lights Camera Pants just plays instead lmao I never got to see the ending for the PC movie game in my life

I feel like the best comparison to draw with the invertebrates vs. chiropractor issue is with standard vs. exotic vets. You can get your exotics looked at at a regular vet, but you probably won't get very good treatment. That being said, they can at least refer you to a place that can help you more. Smallish businesses absolutely have a right to decline people who request service for things they do not provide. You have to treat the body like an object here (which, even if we were talking real life, it is, it belongs to the person piloting it). Restaurants don't make things not adjacent to menu items (since technically asking for a slightly modified dish is something not on the menu so I can't just say that). This would be like asking for a dedicated plumber to do electrician work for you. They might know a few things, but that's not their job, and don't want to deal with clients suing them for taking money when they didn't provide the requested service because it's not something that was trained for. Heck, if you want to go there, you don't see a podiatrist when you need your vision checked. Specialty doctors don't see patients for things outside of their specialty (and don't provide medical care either in the same way a surgeon would). So, yea, the invertebrates are the ones in the wrong here. Unless they add more information that explains why they would want that right in the first place.

i brought my physical GameCube copie of creature of the krusty krab (disc no box), to 1st grade show and tell it was completely destroyed when i got home, my teacher actually gave me a plastic bag to put it into but the damage was done at that point

Apart from the Lights, Camera, Pants! game, we didn't get localised/translated SpongeBob PC games here in the Netherlands which was quite problematic for me and probably many other kids, particularly talking about the point-and-click adventures where dialogues are the most important thing. I only beated The Movie about 5 years ago (when I was around18 y/o) when I decided to give it another try. And it was fun! But man, it sucks that I couldn't do that as a kid and that the Dutch market thought releasing the original version would be fine. What they did localise/translate for this particular game though was the manual, including the stories of the chapters which you show in this video at 1:50. I agree it was a nice idea of them to not show images for the last few chapters.

It's strange that they'd translate the manual but not the game itself. It's as if they thought about it, but didn't end up going through with it. Kind of related, but I remember talking to an old friend from the Netherlands and I mentioned Squidward in some random context. She didn't know who Squidward was and it completely astounded me since I thought everything from SpongeBob was commonly known. When I showed her a picture of him, she recognized him immediately and said she always knew him as Octo. That was news to me.

Yesss I had this exact issue. i loved employee of the month but i didnt understand what anyone said so i never beat it. i also had operation krabby patty and battle for bikini bottom, which were mostly more doable due to there being minigames. I never had movie or lcp. jimmy neutron vs jimmy negatron was also in english but its linearity made it beatable, less so for the other jimmy neutron game since reviewed on this channel. i never made it past level 1 because i ad no idea what i was supposed to do.

I like how back in the day when alost every movie would get a videogame alot of the time the game would realease days or sometimes weeks befor the movie so you could easilygrt spoiled

I kind of wonder if maybe the Mindy level is based on some cut scene or something since this game and the other movie game was made during the making of the movie - just like KH3 having the whole let it go scene and weird elements due to being slapped together while the movie was being made. Too bad paramount hates allowing anything getting released from their archives if could have even really cool if Mindy had more to do. Or even if in the movie game you got a level as Sandy in Texas since she literally leaves for a trip at the beginning of the movie and had her scene cut where she gets on the bus Edit: 17:11 hold on is that butch Hartman art?? I have it scripted and all the footage recorded, but whenever I've had time to record audio, something comically bizarre has gotten in the way of it. I also had some persistent microphone issues that I think/hope I've worked out. With luck, I'll be able to record the audio either later this week or next week. Yep! However, for a lot of people, Employee of the Month has an issue with rendering some textures. It still runs, but characters might have transparent eyes and some colors might be missing.

So I've actually been doing research on the political system and laws of Bikini Bottom for quite a while now, so I'll give my two cents on the chiropractor. For this, you should know that Bikini Bottom is the name of both the city, and a country. This country is not just a city-state, as it does have counties, hence the county line. We are still under Bikini Bottom law here. We'll assume the law is upheld here despite the area seeming quite crime-ridden. Now, the closest thing I could find to anti-discrimination laws was in the episode "For Here or to Go", but that only applies to fast food contests and only says that all customers must be included even if they are annoying and such. Not really anything to go off of for this situation. We'll just assume that discrimination laws in Bikini Bottom are lackluster and as vague as they were in that episode (presuming we heard the full law) and this chiropractor is following the law. We do know that Bikini Bottom does not have universal health care, as in the episode "The Lost Mattress" Mr. Krabs is kicked out of the hospital room after the doctors discover he has no insurance and would not be able to afford the room. So yes, opening appointments to invertebrates would give the chiropractor more money, but like you said, would take up his schedule. You made the point that he could take appointments to point the invertebrates to the medical services they need, but that is more along the lines of what a general practitioner does. This chiropractor likely is not that. So, in my mind, the chiropractor is simply doing what is best for the patients he can actually do something for, and is trying not to cause problems by taking unnecessary appointments. This just leaves moral questions. Should he take appointments for people who have no reason to be there? In my opinion, no. What should happen, in my opinion, is his secretary should direct invertebrates to a general practitioner, and only accept appointments for invertebrates if the appointment is recommended by another doctor. My research is not complete yet, so this opinion may change as I find out more and more.

I hate politics, I don't even get whats going on with that doctor thing.

Now, while this might not be what the video was about, this is here because it is eternally important: Death will not be the end of anyone's existing. To have eternal life, to escape hell, do not to try to become religious or to reform yourself morally. It's like offering a bribe to God to clear you of your bad deeds, because a good work will not clear bad deeds, like in any court. Hell is very real, and it is eternal darkness, separation and torment. If you've lied, stolen anything, such as music online, or used God's name as a cussword, you stand as a liar, thief and blasphemer just from only 3 commandments. The Bible says in the book of Romans that the wages of sin is death. Though we may like to trivialize what we do, each and every evil action, evil though, and evil intent of the heart is deadly serious to God, evident through that we are all headed towards death. Now, most people know Jesus died on the cross almost 2,000 years ago, but many might not understand that what happened was that while we broke God's moral law, He paid for our fine of death. He cried out "It is finished" just before He died, meaning that our punishment had been paid. In any court, if your fine is paid, you can be given mercy. So it is with God. Jesus rose from the dead 3 days later, and all that you have to do to have eternal life and to be saved from hell is that while you Should confess sins to God and turn from them, the only thing that can actually save you is to repent to God and trust Alone in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross. If you have faith, you will be saved from hell, that simply. So repent and trust alone in Jesus like you trust a parachute to save your life, and because of what He did, you will be saved. Hell is very real, and it is eternal darkness, separation and torment. If you do not believe, you are condemned already because of your multitude of acts against God, who lavished His goodness and kindness upon you in giving you life and every good thing, as is described in the Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 18 (for reference). Being saved is not by joining a religion or trying to earn it, but just turning to God and having faith as a child, that simply, but there is no neutral ground. As Jesus said, you are either with Him or against Him, you either gather with Him or scatter abroad. Unlike the many gods of stone, wood, gold, or bronze, Jesus is true and alive and has made it clear also through all of the prophecy fulfilled in the world, such as Israel being cast out of their land, taking Jerusalem back, becoming a nation again in a day and being immediately attacked from all sides too, all things prophesied ranging from 2,000 years and earlier from before they happened. You do not know when you will die, so consider this and decide with the same seriousness as if you were in your last hours of life, lest death seize upon you! Don't throw your eternity away for short pleasures!
