The Other Kaaba (Which Muhammad Destroyed)

Muslims pray toward the Kaaba in Mecca and claim that this cube was built by Abraham for the one god Allah. What is not very much known is that there were other Kaabas which Muhammad had violently destroyed. In this case, I want to talk about the Kaaba known as Dhul Khalasa.

Kinda like a virus.. first it tricks your immune system while it's in minority (kinda like how they preach peace love and tolerance), then as it multiplies and spreads, it starts wrecking havoc and oppresses all healthy cells, either converting them to produce more viruses or destroy them utterly (kinda like how Allah had a "coincidental" mood shift as soon as Mohammad gained a stronger following)

@@Blissblizzard Well no one really knows what the purpose of the cube was some consider the cube a fire temple and a fireplace, and believe that it was used for igniting and worshiping the holy fire. Another theory is that it is the mausoleum of one of the Achaemenid shahs or grandees, due to its similarity to the Tomb of Cyrus and some mausoleums of Lycia and Caria. Other Iranian scholars believe the stone chamber to be a structure for the safekeeping of royal documents and holy or religious books, but the chamber of Ka'ba-ye Zartosht is too small for this purpose. Other less noticed theories, such as its being a temple for the goddess Anahita or a solar calendar, have also been mentioned.

@@sparklingfashion6276 BOOK EXTRACTS FROM AN EX MUSLIM - I was myself a Saudi slave like them till ten year back. I am now free person, no more bound by facing towards Saudia. Salutations to person like Jimmy who says that Islam was invented by an Arab for Arabs, for low or no IQ, whose upper compartment is missing. Islam is not a religion, but sect or an Arab movement which has enslaved so called entire Islamic community for the sole benefit of Saudi Arabia. I implore you all to understand this fact and try to remember your ancesstors, their rich heritage. Below article posted by my dear friend Dr. Ahmad Bhutto is challege to everyone to prove it wrong. The text of the crucial Vikramaditya inscription, found inscribed on a gold dish hung inside the Kaaba shrine in Mecca, is found recorded on page 315 of a volume known as 'Sayar-ul-Okul' treasured in the Makhtab- e-Sultania library in Istanbul, Turkey. Rendered in free English the inscription says: Fortunate are those who were born (and lived) during king Vikram's reign. He was a noble, generous dutiful ruler, devoted to the welfare of his subjects. But at that time we Arabs, oblivious of God, were lost in sensual pleasures. Plotting and torture were rampant. The darkness of ignorance had enveloped our country. Like the lamb struggling for her life in the cruel paws of a wolf we Arabs were caught up in ignorance. The entire country was enveloped in a darkness so intense as on a new moon night. But the present dawn and pleasant sunshine of education is the result of the favour of the noble king Vikramaditya whose benevolent supervision did not lose sight of us- foreigners as we were. He spread his sacred religion amongst us and sent scholars whose brilliance shone like that of the sun from his country to ours. These scholars and preceptors through whose benevolence we were once again made cognisant of the presence of God, introduced to His sacred existence and put on the road of Truth, had come to our country to preach their religion and impart education at king Vikramaditya's behest." For those who would like to read the Arabic wording I reproduce it hereunder in Roman script: "Itrashaphai Santu Ibikramatul Phahalameen Karimun Yartapheeha Wayosassaru Bihillahaya Samaini Ela Motakabberen Sihillaha Yuhee Quid min howa Yapakhara phajjal asari nahone osirom bayjayhalem. Yundan blabin Kajan blnaya khtoryaha sadunya kanateph netephi bejehalin Atadari bilamasa- rateen phakef tasabuhu kaunnieja majekaralhada walador. As hmiman burukankad toluho watastaru hihila Yakajibaymana balay kulk amarena phaneya jaunabilamary Bikramatum". (Page 315 Sayar-ul-okul). [Note: The title 'Saya-ul-okul' signifies memorable words.] A careful analysis of the above inscription enables us to draw the following conclusions: 1.. That the ancient Indian empires were extended up to the eastern boundaries of Arabia until Vikramaditya and that it was he who for the first time conquered Arabia. Because the inscription says that king Vikram who dispelled the darkness of ignorance from Arabia. 2.. That, whatever their earlier faith, King Vikrama's preachers had succeeded in spreading the Vedic (based on the Vedas, the Hindu sacred scriptures)) way of life in Arabia. 3.. That the knowledge of Indian arts and sciences was imparted by Indians to the Arabs directly by founding schools, academies and cultural centres. The belief, therefore, that visiting Arabs conveyed that knowledge to their own lands through their own indefatigable efforts and scholarship is unfounded. Having seen the far reaching and history shaking implications of the Arabic inscription concerning king Vikrama, we shall now piece together the story of its find. How it came to be recorded and hung in the Kaaba in Mecca. What are the other proofs reinforcing the belief that Arabs were once followers of the Indian Vedic way of life and that tranquillity and education were ushered into Arabia by king Vikramaditya's scholars, educationists from an uneasy period of "ignorance and turmoil" mentioned in the inscription. In Istanbul, Turkey, there is a famous library called Makhatab-e- Sultania, which is reputed to have the largest collection of ancient West Asian literature. In the Arabic section of that library is an anthology of ancient Arabic poetry. That anthology was compiled from an earlier work in A.D. 1742 under the orders of the Turkish ruler Sultan Salim. The pages of that volume are of Hareer - a kind of silk used for writing on. Each page has a decorative gilded border. That anthology is known as Sayar-ul-Okul. It is divided into three parts. The first part contains biographic details and the poetic compositions of pre- Islamic Arabian poets. The second part embodies accounts and verses of poets of the period beginning just after Mohammad's times, up to the end of the Banee-Um-Mayya dynasty. The third part deals with later poets up to the end of Khalif Harun-al-Rashid's times. Abu Amir Asamai, an Arabian bard who was the poet Laureate of Harun-al- Rashid's court, has compiled and edited the anthology. The first modern edition of 'Sayar-ul-Okul' was printed and published in Berlin in 1864. A subsequent edition is the one published in Beirut in 1932. The collection is regarded as the most important and authoritative anthology of ancient Arabic poetry. It throws considerable light on the social life, customs, manners and entertainment modes of ancient Arabia. The book also contains an elaborate description of the ancient shrine of Mecca, the town and the annual fair known as OKAJ which used to be held every year around the Kaaba temple in Mecca. This should convince readers that the annual haj of the Muslims to the Kaaba is of earlier pre-Islamic congregation. But the OKAJ fair was far from a carnival. It provided a forum for the elite and the learned to discuss the social, religious, political, literary and other aspects of the Vedic culture then pervading Arabia. 'Sayar-ul-Okul' asserts that the conclusion reached at those discussions were widely respected throughout Arabia. Mecca, therefore, followed the Varanasi tradition (of India) of providing a venue for important discussions among the learned while the masses congregated there for spiritual bliss. The principal shrines at both Varanasi in India and at Mecca in Arvasthan (Arabia) were Siva temples. Even to this day ancient Mahadev (Siva) emblems can be seen. It is the Shankara (Siva) stone that Muslim pilgrims reverently touch and kiss in the Kaaba. Arabic tradition has lost trace of the founding of the Kaaba temple. The discovery of the Vikramaditya inscription affords a clue. King Vikramaditya is known for his great devotion to Lord Mahadev (Siva). At Ujjain (India), the capital of Vikramaditya, exists the famous shrine of Mahankal, i.e., of Lord Shankara (Siva) associated with Vikramaditya. Since according to the Vikramaditya inscription he spread the Vedic religion, who else but he could have founded the Kaaba temple in Mecca?

I'm so glad that you finally focused on this particularly grubby morsel of Mohammad's life, as online apologists I have encountered often try to say that the destruction of other people's sacred places as 'jahilliyah' by Mo's successors was not condoned by Mo. When I mention Dhul Khalasa, they all go quiet, despite clearly knowing about it well enough. Mo set the precedent for the 1400 years of religious desecration by 'the religion of peace', right up to the Taliban destroying the huge Buddhist statues, ISIS destroying Palmyra, or churches being burnt in Europe in recent years. These modern atrocities are dismissed as 'extremists being un-Islamic', but as revealed time and time again with Mohammad's life, they are practising the religion in exactly the same way the founder of the religion practised it.

So me and my friends will avoid those mark places in class the whole day. It was hilarious to see my friends avoiding the area when the teacher asked them to go in front to write something on the board.

BOOK EXTRACTS FROM AN EX MUSLIM - I was myself a Saudi slave like them till ten year back.

This story is remarkable because it is so similar to the account of King Henry II, who famously cried out "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" Referring of course to St Thomas Becket, the Archbishop of Canterbury who had criticized the Christian monarch -- and the monarch's thugs then proceeded to murder Thomas. So far the stories of Henry and Muhammad are almost identical. But of course, Thomas ended up a Christian saint while Henry's memory is duly condemned. Muhammad's thugs, by contrast, are considered heroes of Islam; Muhammad's urging them to murder his critic is considered to be divinely inspired, and the victim of the murder is considered by Muslims to be a villain. This one story tells you all you need to know about the difference between Christian and Islamic morality.

BOOK EXTRACTS FROM AN EX MUSLIM - I was myself a Saudi slave like them till ten year back.

@@pebblesintheshoe4438 I think this video reinforces what we knew. Allah was one of 365 pagan gods. We might say demons. But in any event Mohamed, IHEE, (if he ever existed). Borrow stuff from the pagan religions probably to make them more acceptable to the polytheistic culture there. Rock and stone worshipping was popular in the Arabian peninsula. Of course he made a real mess trying to incorporate Judaism and Christianity. He got things really mixed up. He didn’t realize he borrowed stories of Jesus from writings no Christians accepted. He also borrowed from Jewish mythology. Again it would not be accepted by Judaism then or now as authentic scripture. Mohamed, IHEE, was brilliant in some ways, but not being able to read or write he just didn’t have a grasp on different religions. I suppose even if he could read the amount of actual authentic scripture would be scarce on the Arabian peninsula. Some researchers now believe the Quran was written over a two hundred year period. But still it is hard to imagine what a mess the Quran is as far as being a book. I took a course in it and read about two thirds of it. Whoever wrote it didn’t believe in following a plot line. It is almost as if the order of verses are completely random. If you give someone a Gospel according to Mattew to read they can follow the plot. If you gave someone the Quran and had them read several chapters they could not follow the plot or the characters at all. You actually need a Christian bible to figure out who and what they are try to talk about!

The link between the Kaaba and Zoroastrianism is really fascinating, and something which cannot be argued against. The contradictions found within the Koran will always be contradictions and thus be open to argument, but archaeological evidence is an observable fact that cannot be refuted. The dominance of Persian culture in the region clearly niggled Mohamed; which perhaps was because of it’s highly developed society, while at the same time equally prepared to steal certain aspects of that culture, due to being unable to have original ideas himself. I do admire your tenacity for these thought provoking uploads that you make, and no doubt it will come at personal risk, which is a shame as context does not diminish the Islamic belief, but rather by the people whose response is of violence due to feeling threatened, which in itself is an indication they have a doubting faith, otherwise they would leave it all to God!

There is not a single shred of uncontested primary source evidence confirming the existence of an ancient city at the spot where the modern city of Mecca is located. Mecca 2) The first reference to Mecca outside the Qur’an is from the year 740 CE (more than 100 years after Muhammad’s death). The first time it appears on a map is about 900 CE. 3) The Romans and Persians kept detailed records of the Arabian Peninsula. Mecca and the Quraysh are completely absent from these records 4) The idea that Mecca was on a trade route is ridiculous as this would have necessitated a tortuous detour through empty desert for no benefit 5) Many of Muhammad’s enemies are described as livestock and arable farmers in the Qur’an (cf. 4:119). Occupations impossible in the middle of the desert 6) The Qur’an describes two high mountains (Al-Safa and Al-Marwah) at the location of Mecca (2:158). This is absent from modern Mecca where the ‘mountains’ given these names are so small that they are inside a mosque! 7) The Qur’an states that the Meccans pass by the location of Sodom and Gomorrah every day (37:137). This is hundreds of miles from modern Mecca. 8) The earliest mosques that have been excavated (Kufa, Fustat and Wasit) are all oriented not towards Mecca but to a location in far northern Arabia. Again, hundreds of miles from modern Mecca.

This man lacks any knowledge of History. So pathetic and misleading.... Brainwashing innocent people. Lol. 😂 The prophecy of Sahih Bukhari 7116 is NOT only valid but Has Already Taken Place. The hadith states: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The Hour will not be established till the buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daus move while going round Dhu-al-Khalasa." Dhu-al-Khalasa was the idol of the Daus tribe which they used to worship in the Pre Islamic Period of ignorance. During the time of the Prophet, Dhu-al-Khalasa was one of the idols that was worshipped by the pagan Arabs. Their place of worship was in Asir Province to the South of Mecca, where they built a temple known as al-ka’bah al-Yamaniyah (the Southern Kaabah). With the coming of Islam, this temple was demolished in the year 632 AD. However. it was later rebuilt. Professor Kamal S. Salibi (1929 - 2011), professor of history at the American University of Beirut and a Christian, has confirmed this fact. It is significant that this story comes from a Christian. If it comes from a Muslim, some people will say that it is all made up. According to Professor Kamal Salibi: “In the early 17th century, the worship of Dhu Khulasah was still popular in some Arabian regions; its principal sanctuary was somewhere south of Mecca - the famous al-Kaaba al-Yamaniyah (the ‘Southern Kaaba’), rivalling that of Mecca, and believed to have been located in Tubalah, in inland Asir. After the triumph of Islam, Muhammad, we are told, sent a party of his followers to destroy the idol of Dhu Khulasah which stood there - a sculpture of white stone depicting a phallus topped by a crown. The cult of Dhu Khulasah, however, was subsequently resurrected in the region, where it survived until 1815. In that year, the Wahhabis organized a special military campaign to suppress remnants of pagan worship in different parts of Asir, and the reconstructed idol of Dhu Khulasah in his original Kaaba of Tubalah was destroyed by gunfire.” Reference: Who was Jesus? Conspiracy in Jerusalem; p. 146 Note that Dhu al-Khalasa was worshiped under the name of God of Redemption. It was associated with Divination and Fertility. It was represented as a Phallus made of White Stone. It used to be that the women would go round the stone while shaking their butts. That is why the hadith mentions the women’s butts. In essence, the Hadith also means that in the end times, weakness will appear in people about proper faith and some will return back to idolatry and polytheism.

@@Dr.X.3 Hey, this sounds a lot like non sequitur! What does this has to do with his criticism of Islam in itself? Islam is so filled with absurd assertions anyone in their sane mind wouldn't even consider it since it's based on religious authority, not true science. And what do you mean by "The prophecy of Sahih Bukhari 7116 is NOT only valid but Has Already Taken Place."?!!! "In essence, the Hadith also means that in the end times, weakness will appear in people about proper faith and some will return back to idolatry and polytheism." Do you really think the natural instinct of people returning to their ancestral faiths is Mohammed's proof as a real prophet? This is a natural phenomena observed in countless pagan traditions worldwide as soon as they find some freedom from the yoke of their oppressors. The fact that Islam has to be imposed and many make use of death penalty for apostasy in Islam speaks for itself of how tyrannical this theocratic ideology inextricably tied to Sharia law is oppressive and antithetical with even our most basic civil liberties! I have no objection to the historical facts you mentioned, quoting the Christian historian. In fact, I think they just corroborate even more the truth that orthodox Muslims have many times in history perpetrated crimes of religious persecution and slaughters of pagans (and Christians and Jews)! I actually feel sorry for the fellow pagans who were murdered by your fanatics! Moreoever, I must say historical facts are often the subject of constant revision when new documents are found and different scholars make different interpretations about them. In historical science, the truth that science is not neutral in practice and impartiality is but an ideal to be followed but never completely achieved is more evident than in many other fields of knowledge:-) And, last but not least, I'm not saying I agree with everything this historian says but in one thing we do think likewise, when he asserts that (givin Carlos V as an example): "... (Because) the historical truth is always partial. We cannot say who Carlos V is. It is impossible. We can get close to the truth. Our job is always to work on partial truths. The fact that each year 50 books about Carlos V may appear does not mean that 49 are stupid and one is clever. It means that each book seeks a new perspective on him. ..." And a bit further on: " ... We cannot say: "Carlos V was like this". We can always dedicate to Carlos V, discovering a truth that will always be different from the one we could qualify as definitive. This is the nature of historians' communication. We always work on something that one cannot say unquestionably, that one cannot solve definitively. ..." Oh sorry as per your comment, seems like you would probably let him carry on his work and say it's okay dear black magician you can caary on your spells and arrows and make my family members sick as much as you wish. Lol. 😂 Btw before feeling sorry for the fellow pagans, know the history first. 😂 Pagans used to gamble worstly, treat women worst next to animals, were heavy alcoholics; robberies, thefts, loots were common, Black magics, worst Womanizers, etc whatever you can imagine. They were the worst of criminals. Pagans had began killing looting, beating up, raping, assaulting, dismantling the body parts of the people alive, burning the people alive whoever accepted the message of Islam, stoning, putting a long hot red iron inside the private parts of women, and a lot more worst whatever you can imagine simply because Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had started spreading the message to the people around his surrounding and people had started accepting the message. He had done nothing except that he had started to convey the message whatever he was given. Let me tell you that before he became a prophet at the age of 40, he was known among the same pagans as As-Siddiq and Al-Amin meaning The Most Trustworthy and The Most Honest One. In those times, betrayal, lootings, snatchings were common among the pagans, so the people trusted none because of the fear of betrayal but will happily and readily keep their things to guard to Muhammad because he was well known among them as The Most Trustworthy and The Most Honest One. That'swhy when he began conveying the message, even his own uncle said that I know what you are saying is true since it is coming for you but even then I won't accept your message (because he didn't wanted to give up his lifestyle of sins, crime and paganism but he was wrong because if had he accepted the message, his honour and status would have doubled and so had been his income and earnings) The top people of Makkah tried every possible ways to lure Prophet Muhammad ﷺ so that he stops spreading his message. They said they would give him the best of the Women in the town, The best of the plots and fields, The best of the Camels, Horses and other animals, A lot of golds and other precious metals. But he clearly denied them all every single time and said that he will never stop conveying the message. In those moments, the Muslims were heavily oppressed and suppressed by the pagans as I mentioned earlier and never fought back in self defense. It's after the extreme of the conditions, Muslims got the permission to fight back that too only in self defense. Don't get indoctrinated by what the poor guy in the above video is crying out. Be rational. Seek knowledge on your own as much possible. Learn to know the History.

@@Dr.X.3 You're so delusional there's no point in losing my time discussing your blunders. However, I'll do say some things for those who might consider listening to your dangerous ideas, but if even so they'll prefer listening to you it means they are as lost cases as you are yourself:-) Even those who believe Black Magic exists would agree no one should be put to death for such allegations as we're living in the 21st century, unless they're fanatics like you! Moreover, I also believe if one is really on the right path, the Cosmic Laws themselves protect the person from any dark magic, the reason people are affected by it is just because they're not really tuned with the Source of All cause the heavenly beings are always looking after those who tune with them. And certainly one can and should fight dark magic with white magic, not by killing people for such accusations (which are actually hard to prove since any enemy can accuse an innocent just out of malice and jealousy, etc, etc, this being the historically attested cases of many witch burnings in the West ) and much less those who can't defend themselves! If your religion needs to kill black magicians to defend your followers from them this just shows how weak spiritually it actually is, lol! Of course no wonder for an orthodoxy which has death penalty for apostasy. The only thing your orthodoxy is good at is totalitarianism, not true spirituality in my opinion. That's why you need such cruel laws and regimes to keep your followers under the yoke of the Islamic orthodoxy. Islamic hadiths themselves (as far as I know, only Muslim scriptures speak of Mohammed's existence, no other historical source of the time) attribute hideous acts to Mohammed. Islamic countries have the worst regimes, either theocratic or heavily shaped by Sharia, even when they claim to be moderate or secular (not even Turkey was ever truly secular). Saudi Arabia, the cradle of Islam, still have beheadings (and limb mutilations) to this day! And limb mutilations for theft are also practiced in the surrounding Islamic countries. I'm not saying any pagan religion taught compassion and kindness - but certainly Taoism was one of the few exceptions, together with Buddhism and Hinduism - but certainly Mohammed is NOT the best representative of these qualities, not to mention he engaged the Battle of Badr and ordered (and probably beheaded many himself) defenseless people to be beheaded. Saying it was common at the time doesn't make it justifiable either as there were many societies, some much older than Islamic ones, which didn't have such punishments or similar cruelties but much less would it justify that the cradle of Islam and of your prophet of doom, Saudi Arabia, still has beheadings (and limb mutilations, etc).

The fact is that the Kaaba in the time of Muhammad was originally not in Mecca but in Petra. So the believe that Islam originated in Mecca is a lie including historical places that are believed to have occurred there. And to the knowledge of the public, the Saudi government has also never handed over Mecca to be included in the list of World Heritage Sites as UNESCO’s mandate requires a respect for the sovereignty of individual countries. Perhaps that is the reason why the Saudi government has removed 98% of historical and religious sites in the Kingdom since 1985. Even now, signs in four languages have warned visitors to the Prophet’s birthplace saying there is no evidence the place is where the Prophet was born. So it is forbidden for Muslims to make the place specific for praying or to get blessing.

This makes sense considering the Kaaba is a site for tribal people. Nomads don’t typically carry around their religious idols (except a few small personal items, if that), and the (Muslim) Kaaba was a place to celebrate their King God stone (the black stone), which allegedly fell from the sky (which we understand is a meteorite). So naturally they should have other sites (other Kaabas) for other gods, so this isn’t surprising at all…only surprising that Muslims seem unaware of this. Also, there is apparently a Kaaba emoji: 🕋

The Kaaba was always for Muslims. Before Polytheism, there were "Hanifs". Hanifs is the religion of Abraham. Hanifs believed in 1 Allah. When a Polytheist came to mecca, his name is Amr ibn Hullay, he brought an idol and everyone started to worship idols. There only a few Hanids which included Banu Hashim which is the tribe that Muhammad pbuh was born in. There were more Kaabas built by other Polytheists because they copied The Meccans. So yea, Muslims are aware of this...I think.

This is not just one documented additional ka'aba. Others have looked at different ancient cities in Arabia and concluded that many many many many many other towns had their own ka'abas. One ka'aba that doesn't have any nonMuslim sources to show that it really existed for hundreds of years after the supposed death of Muhammad is Mecca. In fact the only archeology actually found in Mecca was an ottoman fort. Basically Mecca was not Mecca. The tomb of Muhammad is as real as the multiple different tombs of several Roman Catholic saints. Many of the hajj practices and supposed locations have now been identified as copies of practices and locations that people used to practice and visit in Jerusalem before the qibla was changed. And there was probably another location that was a Mecca for the Arabs before Muhammad too. Nothing is authentic!

Indeed. These kind of shrines were built throughout Arabia. The Meccan Kaaba remained in use and was rebuilt many times so it's still standing. The Arabs also used to worship black stones, this is found in many sahih hadiths.

Fun fact: the Nabathean capital, Petra was named as "the mother of cities" before Islam, and the pilgrimage there was called as "Hajj" before Islam. Some theories claim that Petra may be the real birthplace of Islam, and modern Mecca was built during the second islamic civil war. The qiblah of the early mosques from Google Earth clearly prove that, they show on Petra.

This helps to answer a question I'd never thought of until recently, which is whether there existed similar cube-like structures in Arabia which could help explain the dating and purpose of the Kaaba in Mecca. One thing I continue to be a bit confused by is the relationship of the Hatīm wall to the Kaaba, and whether it was an original part of the structure as some sources suggest.

There were many kaabas in the region at the time. Muslims think that their kabba is the most important/special, but it's not. Here are just a few: The Kaaba of Al-Sharif is believed to have been built in the 5th or 6th century CE by the Jurhum tribe, one of the pre-Islamic Arab tribes that inhabited the region. The tribe was known for their worship of the goddess al-Lat, and the Kaaba is said to have housed a statue of the deity. The Kaaba of Al-Sharif was transformed into a mosque by Muslims. The Kaaba of Al-Abwa was built by the Banu 'Amir tribe in the 7th century, who inhabited the region prior to the rise of Islam. The tribe was known for their devotion to the god al-Uzza The Kaaba of Dhul Khalasa in Yemen, believed to have been built by the Himyarite kingdom in the 4th century CE. It was ordered to be destroyed by Muhammad (Sahih al-Bukhari 3823). The Kaaba of Hubal was located in the city of Petra in Jordan and was dedicated to the moon-god Hubal. It was destroyed by the Muslims in the 7th century during the Islamic conquests. The Kaaba of Al-ilah was located in the city of Tabala in northern Arabia and was dedicated to the god Al-ilah. It was destroyed by the Muslims in the 7th century. The Kaaba of Zalmay was located in the city of Balkh in modern-day Afghanistan and was dedicated to the god Zalmay. It was destroyed by the Muslims in the 7th century. The Kaaba of Baal was located in the city of Baalbek in Lebanon and was dedicated to the god Baal. It was destroyed by the Muslims in the 7th century. The Kaaba of Allat was located in the city of Taif in Saudi Arabia and was dedicated to the goddess Allat. It was destroyed by the Muslims in the 7th century. According to historical documents, the Khuzaa’h tribe from Yemen built Mecca in the 4th century AD [Al-Azraqi, Kitab Akhbar Makka, Vol. 1, p. 6]. The king Abu Karb Asa’d led this, who reigned over Yemen in 410-435 A.D, built the Kaaba similar to the Kaaba found in Yemen [A. Jamme. W. F, Sabean Inscriptions from Mehram Bilqis (Ma’rib), the John Hopkins Press, Baltimore, 1962, vol. III, p. 387].

@@theastronomer5800 thank you. Much of this makes sense. I do have some questions on the claim that Abu Karib of the Himyarite Kingdom built the Kaaba, as it seems that many scholars believe that he converted to Judaism (or at least some form of monotheism) during his reign in the early 5th century. If he built it, it would have been before his alleged conversion, but it seems odd that the Kaaba would have been left standing in such a case. On the other hand, it seems unlikely that it would have been built after this time, during the rise of the Quraysh tribe in the Hejaz. I'm not sure, but it seems like the embracing of Judaism by the Himyarites would necessitate pushing the building of the Kaaba back to the early part of the 4th century (300-350) at the latest. Thoughts?

  • @theastronomer5800

Hi. Judaism does not have a history of destroying pagan temples, or those of other religions, so there is not reason that he would have torn it down if the did change his religious views after. Or if he did, it might have been rebuilt by the pagans at time time (I don't remember how many times the Kaaba was destroyed and rebuilt, but it's quite a few). If you're interested in this topic, there is also a ton of fascinating epigraphical evidence (rock inscriptions). If you have time read an article titled "What History and Archaeology of Arabia tell us about the existence of Mecca" by Dr. Amari. It shows that there is so much historical evidence in the region (tens of thousands of rock inscriptions) of kingdoms, kings, dynasties, towns, trade routes, wars, etc that existed during the 3500 years before Islam, yet not a single inscription ever mentions Mecca until around the time of Muhammad. Muslims have made up their own history and expect people to "believe" it. I have talked to Dr. Macdonald, an expert in inscriptions in Arabia. Out of the tens of thousands of inscriptions which mention cities and trade routes, kings and dynasties, wars, temples, etc, he says that not a single one ever mentions Mecca, or Abraham. Mecca and the pilgrimage to it is never mentioned in any pre-Islamic Judeo-Christian texts. @@MiserableLittleDoomGoblin
