I’ve always loved the Osmond’s since 8 first saw them perform on TV all those years ago as a young. When I was in Las Vega’s in 2014 and staying at Caesar’s Palace I had the opportunity to see the Donny & Marie show at the Flamingo across from Caesar’s Palace. LOL I think I was just as nervous and excited to see them live as I would have been as a young girl watching them perform live. They were absolutely amazing. My husband said his only regret about to see the show was after they fire came out singing he said my face lit up like you a you g in such excitement. He kept apologizing for not paying the extra $100 or so to go to the meet and greet before and after their show. He decided to buy 2 more tickets to see their show the next night this time pay extra to meet them at the meet and great and take photosynthesis them this time. I was so excited but the hotel called our room to inform us that one of them was sick and the performance was cancelled and the the ticket money was already put back on his credit card. I was ok just to know that my husband wanted me to have that experience and meet them. Again reminding myself that I am married to a very good man. I had the wonderfully and fantastic to see the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley live in concert when I was 12. He performed beautifully that night. I once saw Bruce Springsteen live in concert on his Born on The Road tour. 3rd row seating in the closet seats in the middle center stage. So close he shook my hand and when he danced and mo Ed his body onstage we were close enough for us and his beads of sweat kept hitting us. LOLhis body. Also when in Vegas 2014 I went to the Coliseum and watched Shania Twain’s concert live and she was wonderful.

The boys wrote a lot of their own music as well and the rock press gave them such a hard time and were so biased because they were not into drugs/sex/the whole rock n roll thing. They were however, highly respected by Elvis, Beatles (Paul McCartney came by in the UK once so he get an autograph for his young daughter) Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, they worked with some of the best in biz. They just kept their focus and became the legends they are today. Over 55 years and going strong!

I never said,'copy'. I said counterparts. They came before them and were established first. When I discovered both groups,I loved them. I was born in 71.At that time, both families were at the peak of their popularity. It always fascinated me how they were,2 sides of the same coin.👍😁

It was followed up by The Proud One later that year which was The Osmonds final Top 40 hit on the pop charts. They then turned their attention to country music and had several hits on the country charts during the 80's.

@@CraftescapeTX Ozzy Osbourne has said that "Crazy Horses" is one of his favourite rock songs. Anyone who denies the class of this band is just acting from silly prejudice, not based on musical talent!
Literally 5 years after this they started to sing country music
Wow that took me back. Those were the days, love the bit about the parents being out, and the way it ends: "Same place, same time, next week".
They never miss a beat
My favorite Osmond song classic

Otis having a party 🔥🔥 Fav part of the series
They sure know how to dance wow
I LOVE Family Groups! May God bless the Osmond Brothers!!! 😘

No wonder Donny won Dancing With the Stars.

Just FAB!!! I don't think I've seen this before, but if I have, it would have been via a black & white TV!! Wonderful dance moves and 'trick' photography!
So talented!
newt week same place same time - I'd like that ! love the OSMONDS
Amo esse vídeo " Having a party "
"Drunk Otis is a Monster"
I love Alan Osmond
The ladies are very beautiful. They're 2024 standard
This. Is just awesome :D
Merrill BEST voice ever ! Cheers from France

They have been performing on television since 1962, when the oldest, Alan, was just 13.
Excellent group. And they had such more intricate songs than this too.
Great time to hear this. I haven't heard this song in decades. Thank you for sharing.

Marie Osmond's son had depression, it had *nothing* to do with his sexuality. Her daughter is gay and she's fine with it, and supportive. You have NO IDEA what you are talking about. And before you think I'm just another Mormon sticking up for her, I'm a Pagan. And yes, I love and respect the Osmonds for the consumate entertainers they are!
I've never seen this video before, but I love it. The Osmond's never disappoint they were great. I really get a big kick out of that mixed drink in the background LOL.
What a treat!!!

OMG.......memories.......I remember having this song on the record player, and my sister and I had the boyfriends in, when we saw our mum and dad coming up the path in the garden,...... we just got the boys out the front door, before they came in the back, So every time I hear this song, it reminds me of that day. It's funny now, but it wasn't at the time lol!!!

True! They were doing barber shop harmony initially and once the Jackson 5 came on the scene, they copied them.
@cindyerick2968
Жыл бұрын
They did not copy the Jackson5. Do the Jackson5 play saxophone, clarinet, and banjo? Yes One Bad Apple was written for the Jackson5 and they turned it down. The Osmonds have been on tv since 1962 so who copied who?
@troyarrington5485

I never said,'copy'. I said counterparts. They came before them and were established first. When I discovered both groups,I loved them. I was born in 71.At that time, both families were at the peak of their popularity. It always fascinated me how they were,2 sides of the same coin.👍😁

@Steve McMillan they didn't copy the Jackson's. Why does it always have to be a competition??? When they started out they were young children and yes that's why they were singing Barbershop. Then when they got older they wanted to expand so they went into other areas of musical styles.
So deliciously 70s!!!

Great video..lead singer is Merrill Osmond..(kind of a gravely voice but wonderful)!!
This single did not chart in the US when released in 1974, though it did go Top 40 in both the UK and Australia. It was followed up by The Proud One later that year which was The Osmonds final Top 40 hit on the pop charts. They then turned their attention to country music and had several hits on the country charts during the 80's.
My favorite song of the osmonds
