The Osmonds have never ceased to amaze me! I don’t think they ever got the respect and credit they deserved for their extraordinary talent.

It is ironic. They began by Barbershop Singing and doing skits and song-and-dance numbers on TV and then temporarily moved on to some serious even respectable Rock and Roll touring and doing concerts in which they genuinely could play their instruments but still incorporated lots of movements and synching, but then they ultimately went back to doing skits and song-and-dance numbers on TV which was their origins but it made them the laughing stock of the entertainment world as their real talents became overlooked for their absurdly squeaky clean and cornball-comedy images. The Donny and Marie Show became a rehash of the "Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" and the entire performing family's reputation never recovered.

This was when Alan was away serving in the military!

The often overlooked tight harmonies, these guys were amazing 👍🏾

Alot of times they had 1 week to learn everything because it was a live show.

Tough routine for a young Donny.. smiling while probably mentally focusing on the moves.. the boys were always so well prepared

I just love these old Osmond videos! Imagine the amount of hours that these boys had to spend learning to play the xylophone, learning all the tap dance moves, the harmonies and lyrics! I appreciate their hard work and was greatly entertained and filled with joy watching this! These boys were Pros!
