Sad to hear that Bobby Osborne passed away last week. My favorite bluegrass tenor. Nobody will ever sing 🎤 lead better. Rest in peace ✌️ Bobby. ❤

Love the Osbourne Brothers. Sonny was 51 years old here, man people used to age hard and look older than their age

Some still do. 3 days after I turned 21, I decided to celebrate and didn't get carded. Their reason was that I looked like I was 35. Hasn't gotten better with age.

“Fastest Grass Alive” was written by Paul Craft on command of Sonny who supplied the title. Paul was a banjo player in his youth and a fan of Alvin Breeden. Hence the name check.
What a great performance from the Osbornes!I really miss the great guest and productions of THE NASHVILLE NETWORK! Circle TV trys,but not like TNN.
16:27 That's the coolest instrument I've ever seen ( never seen one like it) a 5 string banjo neck with a guitar body.....that's awesome and sounds even greater with Sonny using his finger picks on it.
