These are such beautiful songs and so beautifully crafted musically that I could listen to them every day, even by breakfast. Way to go guys. Keep going.
How pure is this? Our world would be so much brighter with more love and less hate. Thank you for uploading.👍
As the man said at end of the songs. It don’t get no better than that! Harmony kings!
Kentucky... Sonny's smile and expression at the change of key....and the audience's appreciation of this.....says all you need to know about the Osborne Brothers, and what they have meant to America and it's real music. Did you ever see a more attentive audience.........of professionals....? This is truly awesome stuff.... James Hennighan Yorkshire, England

So so beautiful.
With the recent passing of bobby it hurts my heart that these boys didn't get the attention they deserved they came up through the ranks with the best of em held their own and earned their spot they're as genuine as any other bluegrass band as well if not more grass roots love to hear their story
What talent, harmonies and just a beautiful rendition of a song!

I saw these great brothers in the early ‘70s & thought they were the greatest Blue Grass singers I’d ever seen!! I wish I’d seen them more - but they travelled & I stayed in VA, married & had a family!!💕. But I always loved Country & good Blue Grass Music….& these guys were the best Blue Grass I’ve ever heard!!! It’s 2023 now & I’m 67 ~ still love the old Country & Blue Grass Music!!!!❤️🌈🌻🦋🌺💖

Before Sonny died, the audience was spellbound at the Ryman, in the studio, or wherever because of the atmosphere generated by the Osbornes from Kentucky. The Everly version was also superb but with a different rhythm. I first heard this favorite song in Shreveport, LA as sung in 1949 by Johnny & Jack on KWKH radio and the Louisiana Hayride........wonderful memories!

The poorest of my momma's side was my Grand Pa Davis; her daddy. Grand Pa could plow straight and was completely honest. He left home of most beautiful Kentucky with a third grade education, traveled west and ended up in Oklahoma. Hard work, kindness and happiness is what my family and I witnessed a few summers ago. As for just me. From the Grapes of Wrath to lushious deep dark streams of Kentucky, I am free. Wish I could write better.

This is tremendous - Osborne Bros later in their career together but still hitting it. Terry Smith, their bass player at the time, on the trio. Yeah, he's chewing gum which ain't real pro for sure, but he is one. Wonder if Sonny said something to him about the gum chewing after this was aired! Connie Smith is NOT in the audience. The beautiful blonde at 3:24 is Eliz Cook. Bill Anderson is NOT grimacing at the beginning. His looks is one of those "wow" reactions to their harmony. Anyway, these are some super trios.

Well, several have asked who the blonde and brunette are. Took a little exploring. The blonde is 'almost' certainly Goldie Hill, and the brunette is certainly Chalee Tennison. Be hard to find a couple of gals more attractive. An aside...at the end of the rendition of Kentucky, while the folks are giving Bobby and Sonny a standing O, Bill says "Eddie Stubbs, you have a way commenting on a performance like this." (loosely, cause it's been a few years ago) and Eddie says "Any questions?" I guess that does sum it up. I had saved this installment of CFR on my dvr but let it get away. If you are a fan of Country's Family Reunion, you might catch a repeat of this episode with the Osbornes.
As Bill said on fade out....."It don't get no better than that!"
❤❤❤

Craig Morgan was spellbound.
Can someone tell me who the blond woman with jeans is? Is she a country singer? She can be seen at the last part of the first song.

The guy at the back is Terry Smith, I agree chewing gum constantly is a big no no, this video was filmed several years ago now, many of the singers in the audience are now dead, and Terry usually plays the double-bass in the Osbornes band, with Terry Eldredge the third singer. Both of these Terry's are in the band called The Grascals.
