Hey thanks! I know! When it was suggested and I first watched it , it seemed like a no-brainer....especially since all of star trek is off the table as I've seen them all. I'm loving this so far...

This is a really fun show. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it nearly as much as I did.

A breath of fresh air for network TV that pays homage to "Star Trek" and the fans of same. As this was Fox TV, we knew what was going to happen next. So "The Orville" is behind a video streaming service paywall, like any show that might upset sponsors or doesn't push The Message. Oh well, at least non-streamers got two seasons of good SF.

Man season 2 is great and then you get to season 3. It just is an amazing adventure that truly stands on its own I’m a huge Star Trek fan since tng all the way to about lower decks.

This show when it first came out in my opinion it was on par with the originals and supernatural definitely more memorable then what Disney seems to be doing with Star Wars I’m really surprised it only got 3 seasons

Hope you watch the entire series! I've been looking for a good reaction channel watching it for a while, great to see it being enjoyed. They do cut down on the jokey tone a bit later on, it's a great show especially if your a fan of og Trek looking for something that's not new Trek

Yes...that's exactly what I need...New trek that isn't trek. Huge fan of trek...seen almost all of it...except the last season of Picard. So I'm definitely going to watch all of this I can tell already.

It was/is an excellent show. Seth is obviously a fan. When they tone down the humor a bit, it was even more like the Next Generation of NextGen. I know of more Star Trek fans who are Orville fans than Discovery or Picard fans. The season scheduling is a pain, though. When there is a two to three year delay between seasons, a show tends to lose momentum. I would guess that's one of the main reasons why a new season (last I heard) was still classified as "iffy."

That's a bummer but fortunately for me i have the whole thing to look forward to!

You won't get many views for this show, but you'll leave the process with a warm heart and some happy fans.

I'm definitely going to see it through. I like it...and can tell I will like it more. And you're right the fans are enthusiastic about it and that's really fun.

The Orville! What a nice surprise! This is my favourite not-Trek Trek XD Easy to love this when Discovery was such an atrocity... XD I think the first two seasons are great and fun. The third one... I don't like as much. But still 100 times better than Discovey XD Also, I do feel the pilot here is trying a little too hard to be Wash from Firefly. Not a bad example to follow, though

Ah that's a great comparison to Firefly I hadn't thought of...ot a bad example to follow you're right. In fact I'd be glad for someone to pick up that mantle. I'm glad you're into it as I liked it alot.

My brother had suggested this show. While I was going to watch it before, I really didn’t know when I was going to. So when he suggested it, I did watch it. And I’ll tell you, I loved it! It was funny. And it’s one way for someone to get me to watch Star Trek. I prefer to watch this over family guy, I did sort of see family guy, wasn’t a big fan of it. So, this is one series I really enjoy.

im not such a great fan of the humor in this show, but the stories they tell are really good.

@@wacky_uncle i am generally not a big fan of comedy stuff. so i would probably prefer a serious series. but thats just me. still. the series starts to have even more series topics throughout the seasons.

New Horizons is season 3. The show gets better every season. Gets more serious

I've been waiting for someone to do this show. And the first season does get goofy at times. Season 3 is when Hulu revived the show and everything from visuals to story takes a huge leap. You will love it

@@jamestate5059 That's cool to hear. i honestly don't know why but I was surprised by how much I liked it....I thought it would be different...almost more making fun of Star Trek...but it seems like an homage almost.

The first two seasons were funnier. Then Hulu got it and went New Horizons, so it's a little different. They're STILL on the fence on having a season 4. Typical, it just doesn't matter. TV execs are all the same. They just don't get it.

Lord knows we learned that over and over again. Lucky for me I'm at the very beginning ...I really think I'm going to like this show.
