Sometimes they use stock sound effects. For example, the thunder crashing was by a company called "The Hollywood Edge". There is another called "Sound Ideas", which is another sound big company. Also, thanks for the shoutout!

The " Nom Nom Nom " sound effect is coming from a song released in 2009 by Parry Grip : kzread.info/dash/bejne/hYGLy5l8fNLAYrQ.html . Fun fact : Parry Grip is also created the song ""It's raining tacos"

The spray paint sound is "spray.mp3" by BernzSed on freesound

You should do the earlier gunshot sound effects. Cus the history behind them is rather interesting. To keep things simple: The sounds were originally uploaded by clockwork (and most likely conix) for their game "Kiseki CTF". A majority of those sound effects, however, came from a game called "Soldat". While I don't know if they sampled some early sound effect library, clockwork most definitely got it from that game.

but there is some... questionable ones. for example, there is this item called "subspace space mine" so if you plant the bomb and somebody touches it, there is a scream, possibly tying to the space theme.

i really like your vids, you dont dumb down information and you actually do research and know the background behind what you talk about

You should try to find the disco potion sounds, it kinda sounds like a slowed down version of the first two notes of Love Foolosophy by Jamiroquai, and remove the little intermission between the 2 notes

i'm pretty sure haddaway used a vocal sample from a zero-g cd for "what is love?" (the female vocal between the end of the chorus and the start of the verse)

The sword equip sound is from a zelda spaceworld 2000 tech demo in which link is fighting ganondorf.

The gear "dance potion" uses the GarageBand sample "Techno Bass 01", idk what the other sounds are.

2:53 it sounds like what Barney Calhoun would say to his best friend Gordon Freeman.

It's more questionable on how long they took on finding these sounds lol
