Forgetting all the ships whether it be Klaus and Caroline or Klaus and Camille, the main relationship of "The Originals" is Klaus and Hope. I think we all forget that this show was created on the basis of Klaus having a daughter and doing anything to protect her. Whatever actions Klaus did, he main goal was to protect Hope. This finale gives us a proper closure in that Klaus lives to protects his daughter and that he is willing to die to protect his daughter. I think this ending was fitting for the series in that it brought us back to why "The Original" was created....for Hope and for his family.

I can't forgive Plec for a lot of things, but most of all for destroying Klebekah and all their story. He couldn't live without his little sister, she was the one willing to rip his heart out, she was only one who always stood by his side, protected him from Mikael (Elijah was too afraid and loyal to his parents at the time), she started Always and Forever, she was his precious girl before Hope and was called barbie Klaus not without the reason. What happened to "I know that I'm your favorite sister"? What happened to "despise our differences there is no one I would trust more with my daughter's life" even after her betrayal? What happened to "I also have a sister who I happen to care much more about"? What happen to "aren't we a pair"? What happened to "If you came after my brother I will rip you apart"?

@@diemcarpe2709 for starting that was it Rebekah and Klaus. After few seasons we realized it was klaus and elijah. Whatever Klaus did Elijah used to forgive him just because he had regret in his heart that he couldn't save his brother from Michael and they bonded pretty well later on.

@@PiyushChitaleGLCRMM- Just because of Claire absence and the fact that most of the fans saw sexual tension between Rebekah and Klaus (I couldn't put my finger on this. On the one hand I loved them as siblings, very dynamic, so similar, playing around like two children and yet protecting each other like hell. I loved that Klaus trusted Rebekah the most, always keep her close and made a war with all Mystick Falls gang when she was missing. I loved that her poppy eyes were the one thing that get to him and reminded his humanity. And yet at the beginning I thought IT was so kind of trick when They first introduce her as his sister. I was pretty sure it would be another exciting secret, you know. I think it would be if the show was from HBO. But back to the point- I think another reason for breaking their bond is because They didn't want a incent or any kind of sexual tension between these two. The fact Claire left the show only helped with that.

diem carpe i think the only one to blame was claire holt. She was a regular, the 1st main lead actress when the show started but she chose to give less time to the show and only to guest star. So storylines changed as a result obviously.

Originals was one of the best shows ever made on CW!! the story and journey of the characters was amazing. ending broke my heart. hats off to all the actor especially Joseph, he made Klaus one of the most captivating layered and amazing characters on tv!!

If it was up to me to write, it would have Elijah reunited with Hayley after he sacrificed himself by taking on the Hollow so Hope can keep her father, Klaus. I hate how they killed Elijah and Klaus off.

I get that klaus wanted to be responsible and do the right thing to protect his daughter. But I don’t get why he wouldn’t just let Elijah die alone. Elijah wanted to die either way and Hope needed Klaus, especially after Hayley died.

The Originals dives so much deeper than a simple teen romance. It talks about family, loses, power, and that no matter what, even if you have an eternity… it can still be gone in a moment. And to cherish not the time you have but the moments always and forever. This is why I love The Originals so much more than TVD.

The same guy who called Elijah a sentimental fool in the first episode of the first season ended up being even a bigger sentimental fool than Elijah. Elijah couldn't be more proud.

Elijah had it the worst, imo. He reawakens his memories only to realize he sided with one of the greatest threats to his family, as well as aided in the death of Hayley by doing so. His brother was redeemed in the end and he knew that once Klaus died, he'd have no reason to push onward. He would be genuinely, alone and lost. Death with Klaus was a release he just needed. Hayley was the last straw for him.

I wouldn't have minded the ending so much if he had at least got to raise her but no. He spent about 3 out of 15 years of Hope's life with her. Its not fair to him or her. She already lost her mom and Klaus never got to raise his daughter. I actually think the ending is quite fitting if he at least got to raise her. He got his redemption. Nobody murdered him, nobody succeeded in killing him he died on his own terms and in peace with Elijah, knowing his daughter is safe because the hollow dies with him and Hope is like super powerful right so she'll be fine. I love the klaus and Hope moments, I wish they got more time together.

One of the best shows I have ever watched. I grew to love them all and am so sad that it came to a end. There will never be another show like this or TVD this show will be one of the greatest of all time along with TVD

IT FEELS LIKE I'M TEARIN A PART OF ME MISSIN AND I JUST CAN'T FEEL IT I'VE TRIED, AND I'VE TRIED. ~ Mansion, NF UGHH this moment just reminds me of the song and vise versa! I love this series SO MUCH. Klaus doesn't deserve to dieeeeeeee he deserves more time with his daughter... he missed EVERYTHING! and it breaks my heart to see them like this. also, just imagine loosing ur mother, not being able to stand by ur father, then when u finally get to...u can't bcuz he....has to die.
