The Original In-N-Out Burger / Free Samples & Fast Food University

Ойын-сауық

A visit to the original In-N-Out location in Baldwin Park California . While there ,myself and Exploring With Josh were given free soda samples, stickers and a informative short tour of the inside . Afterwards walked to the university gift shop and looked around before chowing down on a double double and animal style fries .

I used to work at In N Out and part of the training is the history of the company. They actually pioneered the 2-way speaker system. It’s a fantastic company to work for, and they’re still privately owned by the family that founded it...which is why the quality is usually really consistent, despite nothing being frozen

When I lived in Calif I used to go to this In-N-Out for lunch several days a week. There would always be at least 10 cars in line but I never remember waiting more than 10 minutes.. tops. It was crazy how fast & efficient they were. On Friday nights the game plan was In-N-Out burgers and on to the drive in theater where we would pack backward and lay in the bed of our truck to watch the movie. That was back in the 70's.

Remember "layaways?" Most dept. stores had some form of this installment plan. My mom would start early every yr, just managing to make the final pmt. in time to have Dad's & my presents wrapped & under the tree by X-mas Eve. I utilized holiday layaways for my family a few times as well, back when my son was small - a convenient means for avoiding outrageous credit-card interest & carrying over debt into the New Year.

In and out is so dang good. Half of me wishes they could be here in Western NY but it would never be the same. The produce in the food is so fresh, you could never get it so good in NY in the winter. The other thing I love about In and out and by far the most overlooked aspect of the restaurants, is the staff. They usually have young employees and you never see such respectful young men and women anymore. They are always smiling and having a good time but are still so so good at customer service.
