Love this restoration. It's how they all should be done in my opinion. They only look like that once and took nearly 100 years to do so. Impressive. I was curious to the make of ultrasonic bath you use?

Thank you! 🙂 Would of been a massive shame to take it all apart and re-paint. It has to show it's age. The ultrasonic bath is great at removing dirt and built up grime but not that original surface.

You can see one just like this on Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade. The scene where he tries to rescue his dad from the Austrian castle. It's in almost every shot.

You can tell this is the original 1227 by the three steps on the base. Later 1227 models have only the 2 steps.
