I always liked Kismet and Quasar as characters. It was fun watching her grow as a character, and frustrating watching other authors throw that growth out the window.

Marvel created a new female Adam Warlock recently; I don't know why they bothered since Paragon and Delta are still out there somewhere.

Yeah, I remember her from the 90’s Quasar series . Wow. I didn’t know that she was so confusing and convoluted. I wanted her to make a comeback, but now I don’t . Thanks for the history, I did not know all of this backstory .

She may have had more names than Hank Pym. Surprising how Him had such a more important role in the Marvel Universe then Her. I would think two perfect beings would be equally important. I think they changed things in GotG2, where Ayesha (AKA Her) was the golden High Priestess of the Sovereign who created Adam Warlock. So, technically, Her had a much bigger role than Him 😉

@truespectros Too weird but as far as Warlock and Kismet goes, I don't think they're genetically compatible with normal human beings or Kismet would have had already made a baby with someone.

Her was Ayesha, the High Priestess of the Sovereign. She was the one who hired the Guardians of the Galaxy to protect her batteries, then tried to kill them for stealing said batteries, in GotG2.

You could certainly see her as the first. She first transitioned to female form in 1980. The one who is generally credited with being Marvel's first openly trans character is Jessie Drake, a minor character who appeared in Marvel Comics Presents 151 and 152 in 1994. There have been a few other notable examples in recent years. Charlene McGowan is a supporting character in Immortal Hulk. Koi Boi has appeared in The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and was depicted wearing a binder. Sera is Angela's girlfriend and her transition is an integral part of her backstory.

Before this they were talking about gender swapping The Silver Surfer, than there was gender swapping SpiderMan, DeadPool, Thor, Venom, Iron Man, Loki, etc, etc etc.When did so called creatives forget how to be creative?
