Agree on tretinoin, I use it every night 0.1% and I do my evening routine as early as I can so it's all in my skin and I have a blank canvas face for the good stuff!

I was wondering how you liked this product. I just purchased it and found this video to watch. One product I have found that has helped my dry skin so much is the Hylamide SubQ mist. I use it like a toner, right after cleansing and my skin feels so much plumper and hydrated throughout the day!

If you have really dry skin I would say the Amino Acids but you could definitely use both if you really wanted to... The Ordinary Pycnogenol is also great for extra hydration and even some of the Ordinary oils as well!

You can yes.. I don't use them together but according to the Ordinary you can... You can also use HA before Retinol as well if you decide to then moisturizer afterwards.

You can definitely use this serum with it. This is a hydrating serum so it's not harsh at all.

You don't need to dilute the amino acids as it's a hydrator and super gentle..You can pair any product with it..

Amino Acids is a hydrator and HA is a humectant which means it will make your skin feel hydrated but it also holds and attracts up to 1000x it's weight in water so your skin looks more plump.. I really do find the amino acids is a tad more hydrating in my opinion and I have combo skin..

I like your thoughts about using less products when using retinol. I use tretinoin at night and because it is so drying I like putting it on top of my other serums and I feel like by morning it has had time to soak in and it doesn’t cause as much dryness or irritating effects. But maybe I should consider switching things up.

Oh I know I was once using a few difference serums before my tretinoin for the same reason. The dryness that happens is the worst part of using the product. In my opinion I think less products before hand is best to allow the tretinoin sink into the skin. If you need more moisture afterwards then I always apply a heavy cream..

Would this product be okay to use with TO niacinamide serum? I’m really unimpressed with niacinamide and am looking for something to use after the niacinamide? Or should I use this to dilute the niacinamide?

Absolutely... This should be applied before the Niacinamide because the texture and consistency is like water so for proper layering I would apply the amino acids prior.. If you are a little sensitive to Niacinamide don't use it everyday.. Gradually increase your usage once your skin becomes accustomed to it!

Honestly, I would recommend both🤗 You can use them together or you could use one in the morning and the other at night.. They are both amazing for hydration!!

I've been using this product for approximately 2 weeks now, and it makes my skin feel sticky/tacky? It's not particularly a bad thing, I don't mind it, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? It feels sticky regardless of if I only use a tiny bit or I use a decent amount. I put this on before my moisturiser in the mornings

I don't experience the tacky feel with the Amino Acids but I do experience that feeling with the Buffet, Matrixyl, Niacinamide and the Alpha Arbutin.. I kinda like that feeling as I find my skincare products stick on top of my skin better but once I apply my moisturizer I find my face isn't tacky anymore..

Hi there! If your vitamin c is more on the "watery" side apply it first then the amino acids + b5 but if your vitamin c is thicker then apply amino acids first☺️

I have never experienced a tingling sensation with the Amino Acids + B5 but if your skin is compromised from actives sometimes even the most hydrating gentle products/ingredients can cause a tingling sensation.

I'm not sure if you'd see this but would like to know if i could add this amino acid + B5 on my skin first, then the 7% glycolic acid toner? or the other way around? thanks!!!
