Question? I currently have a Sony X95L TV with the Google TV OS. I also have a Roku Ultra connected through my Sony AVR. Would there be any advantages to using the Onn 4K Pro over any of those that I mentioned?

I think the only advantage would be that the Onn is open source and Google certified .

I don't think there's much of an advantage besides getting a newer version of Android, unless for some reason HDMI ARC and CEC aren't working correctly on your TV.

does the Nvidea sheild still operate sheild & ONN ,& if so how does it differentiate if you have both hooked up to same TV ?

Great question James both are great devices for streaming The shield runs the Android Os and the Onn runs the Google tv Os neither are a bad choice.
