You have a strong connection with you fans, and everytime I see you on stage, you and you team (Sleeping with Sirens) always create this awesome environment and we can see your passion towards music. As well, you are EXTREMELY humble and down to Earth, and that is something I've always looked up on you. Thanks for being the difference and it makes all of us proud, how far you have reached within the Music industry, in which I consider, it is quite challenging to reach for the stars. i'm not just saying this as a sleeping with sirens fan, i am genuinely thankful that i get to enjoy so many things in the same world as all of these people that enjoy the same music as me, the same form of art and this mindset and i'm really grateful to have found people who relate to life in this way if that makes sense lol nick, i may not know you in person and i don't even expect you to see this random comment in a 2 year old video, it's just that i respect you sm even tho there's a lot of difference between your life context and mine, i still can resonate w your words also i usually come to this specific video when i'm feeling kinda lost in life lol idk so thank you for using your platform for this can't wait to keep living a happy life, with a really cool soundtrack too :)

Ever since I was a kid, music has been a part of my life. Y'know, one of my earliest memories I have to this day is discovering Three Days Grace as an elementary schooler and fucking jamming the hell out of Animal I Have Become. I think that was one moment early on when I knew I loved music. All throughout my life, music was there for me, through all the hard times and good times. Days when my heart felt the fullest it ever had, and days when I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. Music was always there. I think that's why in 7th grade, I decided to enter a talent show in my school and sing on a whim. It was one of the most terrifying but amazing things I'd done in my life. Fast forward a bit, and I just graduated high school in July of 2021, and started college a couple months ago! I discovered Sleeping With Sirens in 10th grade and got immediatly hooked. Not just on the music, but on how when I watched live shows of them, they all were having the time of their lives. For me especially, Nick was always so full of energy which was fucking awesome to see! After I discovered SWS, I naturally found a ton more bands like them and idolize them today. And after a couple more years of becoming engrossed in the music, I eventually had such a powerful urge to want to do what they were doing. To want to be on stage, jumping and screaming and fucking living through music. I often credit Sleeping with kicking off my dive into the emo/post-hardcore/rock/whatever world, and not just that- but my venture into my passion. Today, I'm pursuing music to the fullest extent I can- I learned guitar, I sing, tried to form bands with my friends, whatever! That last one though, I have every. Single. Intention to form a band, and- fucking GET SOMEHWERE with it!! One day, I will fucking play on a stage with my idols, I will be able to experince the feeling of having a crowd sing your words back to you, to tour the world- to DO WHAT I LOVE! I really hope one day I'll be able to make that dream a reality and- hey, who knows? Maybe one day I'll be able to meet the guys from SWS and thank them for kickstarting my passion. Thank you Nick for making this video!! I've been questioning where to go musically since recently unfortunately, my band dissolved but this video, while it didn't give me an answer on where to go- it gave me hope that one day I'll be able to do what you have done and do what I love. Thank you so much Nick- you and Sleeping changed my life, and I can't wait to tell you that in person!!
