This is literally the best champion guide I've ever seen, it is so complete and well done it's not just you stomping on low elos while slightly talking about what you're doing in the game like a lot of guides on KZread. I'm a bronze Kayn main and I really want to get good at Rengar because I love the champion, he's hard so the road will be long but I can do it, and with this video it will be even more easier. So thank you for that really great guide !

I know this was 6 months ago but yeah, they are still the only viable survivability items on rengar. Otherwise you just die if you get cced.

Didn't get through the whole video yet so excuse me if these two things are mentioned later. #1 Q attack speed for the second auto does NOT get consumed if you leap after hitting a Q, so you are able to get two autos (Q,leap,AA) off with the enhanced attack speed rather than just one. Useful for clearing or extended early fights in/around bushes where one extra auto can make all the difference. #2 Rengar's AA timer starts upon leaping, rather than when the leap AA connects. Max range leap thus makes your AA after leap come out "faster" So at slightly higher attack speed it is quite fast to add a second auto after leap before resetting with Q. At high enough attack speeds (around ~1.8 or so, need to check exact numbers) which is easily reachable with emp Q/lethal tempo/items/whatever, upon leaping you will have both leap damage and AA damage happen simultaneously. You do have to make sure to wait for that to go off rather than Qing and cancelling it preemptively. Doesn't sound like much but every little bit of damage helps in close fights, where one auto is all it takes to make a difference.

this is the best rengar guide i have ever seen i hope that everyone who wants to start playing rengar will find this video.

In the first clear, does it really matter if u jump on the buff (lvl 1) from the bush after you already started it (besides when at 0 stacks to get an extra)? Is there an actual benefit to jumping from the bush timewise if u don't get a stack from the jump?

New to league completely and rengar is gonna be my first proper main, I’ve already gone from iron2 to top of bronze 4 (with +17 -27) but I am getting better, watched this video and am gonna start playing more games now to try and make it

@Glube I mean. I've inted a bit less? My difficulty with rengar is his situational engage for an assassin. No bush no ult no engage. And again his engage is a 100% thing. You go in and it is hard to go back out. I can take care of a priority target just fine, but I will most likely die afterwards.

Highly recommend re-assessing your early game for this so it never gets to teamfights. But in teamfights - yah it comes down to jumping on the right target at the right time. But based on his advice, if you ulti and don't see a clear win in a teamfight, just go farm a side lane. I wave = 125-200 gold, that's 1/3'd a kill and more XP. So my advice, if you find yourself dieing in a teamfight, ward baron, push top, back when you get countered, push bot (while your ward is still up) and if they go baron, just end the game bot. :P@@yasserblidi9729

I highly recommend sticking to a strict regimen of ALWAYS watching your game back - this is how I got from silver to gold. You will easily be able to see when you are taking red that you should have gone top instead of krugs, or mid instead of raptors or wolves.

The guide is very well made. I wish you state every little detail for beginner people. Like "Squishy team" means two squishy? or 3+ squishy? Or Import codes for items on the Mobafire guide etc. Thank you for the guide! Edit: You didn't mention Spear of Shojin, Goredrinker, and other items you mentioned in your Mobafire guide; why?

I think that it depends on the Elo, the playstyle and the champions your team and the enemies picked. If they go for Olaf and an entire oneshottable team i would go for first strike rune with normal items and depending on the Stilllevel and items of the Olaf either kill him since he doesnt have a lot of health or just play safe if he is too tanky. Against Jax with a tankier team i would go conq and at least in low elo it should be a free matchup too.

i don’t play rengar (yet) but liked and subscribed cause of the ff7 cursor and sounds.

First time I got ganked by rengar was in the jungle and he had me positioned between two bushes and kept jumping back and forth from them, scariest moment yet.

I think he would say „adapt to the enemy team“, if you can simply oneshot all of them i dont see a reason to go tanky. Also I believe that against some champs its really good to go crit since you are doomed if they survive your burst.
