You're definitely not wrong about that haha

If you've read The Only One Left, then you’ll totally understand why it’s so difficult to explain the twists! I loved Lock Every Door but did not like Survive The Night!! My expectations may have been too high going into it - BUT, with such a small cast of characters - it was just obvious who the killer was - and then the rest just became redundant theatre - I was sooo disappointed because I really wanted to love it - glad you did though!

👏👏👏 you did great 😂 I was snort-laughing at you trying to explain all the twists. It’s almost impossible! Haha. But those of us that read it totally followed you!

Seriously! I get it! I had an hour of footage for my spoiler review because I kept getting confused. At the end it got cut down to 33 minutes. 😳 Bravo to you, Zack, cause I know the struggles. 😄

Don’t forget Ricardo wasn’t Ricky but Patrick was Ricky. Mrs baker is Lenora but miss baker was screwing winston hope

Zack, I'm sorry but I loved watching you struggle through trying to explain the plot twists in this book. 😄 And I feel your pain! I just posted my spoiler review and it was a struggle to film but through the power of editing no one will ever know. 😄 But I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. I also gave it 5 stars and it's also one of my favorite books of the year so far. I'm shocked! 😳😁

I was laughing out loud listening to your review! I’m so glad someone agrees with me that the end was confusing! I liked it a lot just wish it wasn’t confusing.

I just finished this book, and it was my first Riley Sager book and I absolutely loved it. You really made me laugh explaining all the twists lol. It was so much and I finished it while high on an edible, and I am impressed with myself that I kept up with what was happening lmao. I picked up The House Across The Lake as well, and now I'm nervous I won't like it lol.

This was such a fantastic review 😂 absolutely loved it 😅 I loved The Only One Left. Riley Sager has yet to disappoint me but this was one of his best in my opinion.

Great review. I just finished this one 2 weeks ago. Good! Home before dark was better but this one not far behind, a more slower burn

I loved this book! My new favorite Sager Book the atmosphere in this book was incredible! I would totally want to stay in a house like this over looking the sea!

The ending was nuts. I kept thinking of the ending of Ace Ventura "Einhorn is Finkle, Finkle is Einhorn!"

Bought this book on release day but saved it for October. After House Across the Lake I was a little worried but damn if this book didn't come back with a vengeance. Can't wait for his new book which will be a first featuring a male protagonist.

I’ll be totally honest with you Zack… You’ve convinced me to leave this book the Fcuk alone🤣🤣🤣 It sounds like a Netflix series I watched called “Echoes” which was pretty complex and left very open ended!!🤯🤯

Also loved Survive the Night (my favorite Sager so far), even though it's widely considered his worst book.

I liked it a lot, from the start. The pace was good, the atmosphere, I loved the characters and all. Didn't buy some of the twists tho, but still a very solid read. Thats a 4.5 out of 5 for me

I had to look it up after cause I was confused I thought Ricky and Ricardo were the same person and I thought Archie was also sleeping with Ricky then who was his best friends lover.. idk how I got that wrong . When i looked stuff up afterwards I also musta missed that part that Archie was African American. I thought the whole house crumbling at the end was kinda un realistic and that the house kept moving down the cliff every night was too but I did love this kinda like dark clue who done it mystery. If you have read verity it deff had those vibes mixed in this book with Virginia . I really wanted kit to get with carter she just did him dirty and he didn’t like her no more at the end ha!

I can't keep up so frustrated....I am almost done this book and can't understand it lol

Well Ricardo and Ricky are two completely different characters so you should probably go back to actually reading books instead of playing games while listening.

You know, during my long rant and the editing process I thought I messed that up. We decided to not make my rant have no cuts to show the madness going through my head at the time and I guess that completely slipped through during that whole thinking process, oops! My apologies for the error!

Yeah, it's confusing at times so much happening in this book 😄 anyway I really enjoyed it. I gave it 4 stars. The reason why I can't give it five star is I don't think there is no tension/suspense in the story it's felt like a pure mystery.

I hated The Only One Left. 1 star. LOL I think it's the only one-star rating I've given in like two years. Felt like it was written by a 13-year-old.

The twists were coming so fast and so many I feared Kitt McDeer may actually be Lenora reincarnated.😂😂😂😂😂😂
