Very insightful! Indicators are mental crutches. I used them for years and my results are never consistent. Once I got rid of them but candles, 2 MAs, and volume, my profitability and win loss ratio are skyrocketed, sweetest of all is my results are consistently positive! Indicators are useless, lagging, and actually hurting your trading. You do need a reliable price/chart pattern to trade profitably and consistently. Thank you, Ross, for your education!

Anything published is worthless. Why would you sell an indicator that works? it'd be like selling a money making machine. No sense. Also if it becomes public it will stop working. This is just math. I share your experience with indicators, but that was before I kniew how to get live market data and real time processing with my own algorithms.

Great video! I took a break from trading (and your vids) a year back due to taking a large loss which opened my eyes to the fact that I had no idea what I was doing. While I enjoyed your vids and streams back then, I didn't fully understand the logic behind your trades. I took some time to read up on price action, came back to watching your recent instructional vids, and can say - without a doubt - that the knowledge shared in this and other videos is pure gold. Ross, love the genuineness of your videos and how you are not just trying to recruit people, but give education while offering such an opportunity. If I may suggest. As you do this education, Show people they don't need to focus on large gains. All they need to do is become consistent in their trades. !00 consistently a Day is 25200 a year. It is easy to make 100. If you compound daily a 1k account 2% in growth, and we know more is possible, 1000 becomes a bit over 64000.

I new to trading and just started the ftmo challenge today. You give out some really good information

its not about finding the magic indicator. its about using them all together to more informed prediction. it sometimes even comes down to assigning points based on strength and time frame of bullish signals and then tallying that up.

going thru this trading journey (since 2021) i for the first time in my life fully realize and understand the old adage "when the student is ready the teacher/lesson will appear".. its a pretty crazy experience.. thank u for this video.. what a time to be alive i swear

I really like this guy, first time someone is honest, methodical, concise, clear and talks through every situation. I tried trading 4 years ago (lost) and now I am just studying the charts..I've put so much money in (no return) and the things he's saying make so much sense. I am retiring from the military and need to find another way of generating income. Ross IS the holy grail of trading. Unfortunately, I cant afford his membership, but I am reading and seeing all he has for free and that itself is priceless. I can't wait until this becomes 2nd nature, and I win over 70% of my trades.❤ Thank you Ross!

I did not get to watch live had to watch later in the day. I have no idea why, but when you moved the camera close and said there is no Holy Grail, for some reason that statement tried to bring tears to my eyes. It filled me with emotion. I wish I knew why, perhaps I will figure it out later. From watching your other videos, I have been using the same indicators and like you said, most I do not pay much attention to. I do like to see VWAP on the start rather than the end of a run. The one thing I have noticed making or losing money seems to depend on the day. Some days break out trading works and some it does not. I use the same strategy if I am trading small caps or large, just depends on the day which seems to be moving the best with the least risk. Great video!

When waiting for a candle to provide confidence to buy, do you wait for the candle to fully form on the 1 minute chart? Or do you mean that if you see it at least temporarily spike ‘during’ the 1 minute that is good enough

Wonderful Ross!! Just one suggestion. Try with SMA 50 (the simple moving), it is better than the EMA200. specially in 5min chart, though also in 1min is a very good signal as exit of the trade mostly.

Hey Ross, great video ' been on sim for a while and has been very helpful on big cap. I've learned through Oliver V, my question about your program/techniques , can I trade the morning openers from 630a to 830a with your basket of stocks and be done for the morning . Just want base hits not looking for home runs- finish the week green, I would have a max loss per day ?? Long question lol ..?

Thats such a great video, Ross. Do you have an educational video on position seizing too? I think that is also very important.
