You are right, but I like to combine it with round numbers (5$), works extremely well on Gold, I had times with 20 winning trades in a row.

@@TheTradingGuide Do you mean using roundnumbers method to find key levels of space of 500 (5$)? when price clearly break the 5$ line on the up, you will buy, when on the down move price clearly break line you sell; when price does not reach the next line but retrace more than 10 pips you will trade in the direction of the move? But from where you start to draw the round number lines? From daily pivot, from opening price, from the opening range middle lines? from a sweet point and where is it defined?

How do you know where to take your tp? One thing I have noticed in gold it likes to move in 50-100 pips, would you say with this strategy it's best to use no more than 50 pips, so a five dollar move?
