Well the Republicans did try to have someone other than Trump, but Trump won fair and square. So he actually has the mandate to go ahead and run for the presidency

Biden has been a brilliant President, the way the American economy has recovered from COVID is the envy of the world. This has not happened by accident but because of the many groundbreaking legislation that Biden got passed. Biden also led the way in supporting Ukraine against Putin.
