Missing limbs and high water for me. Those songs are always fresh even at the 100th replay

I was fortunate enough to be listening to Sleep Token prior to Sundowning, and they did slowly release every song individually on that album but it wasn’t daily. Memory is foggy as that was years ago but I think it was at least 1 week between each track.

Sunset, Greenwich Mean Time. The attention to detail from this band is amazing. From the songs to the art to the releases, it's all planned out to the smallest detail.

Every song has been a massive W, unique and well put together. The piano segment got me feeling.

I think this progression between their singles has been so interesting. Chokehold starts of a bit calm and ends heavier, The Summoning starts with an absolute Sweet Chin Music and ends with that sexy funky interlude, Granite begins with that R&B/pop sexy vibe and ends with a heavier side and Aqua Regia is just an all around mix of R&B, pop, jazz and progressive rock. You can definitely see that there is an idea of continuity between these releases. Each song presents something fresh and new that is being incorporated in the next one, and this is just amazing.

It was a track every two weeks for Sundowning, released every sunset time until the summer equinox (longest day of the year) when the final track and album were released.

That was fast man! This band is worth it!

On the song think this showcases the pure vocal talent he has, The hook in the chorus is very catchy and memorable, it might be one of those tracks people hate initially cause its not "heavy" but it will become their most popular i bet

That smile at 3:39 absolutely destroyed me 😍 oh and the song is great too. 😂😎

The piano, vocals and jazzy percussion hits on this tracks are just * chefs kiss * The late night, penthouse top floor, elegant romancing vibes be REAL! :D In regards to the album release; Currently we actually don't have any hints on exactly what the next step is. But here are the most likely scenarios; 1. New songs will come out every two weeks until we have the full album. As you mentioned, they did something similar with Sundowning. This would also make the final song be released on March 17th. Which is the "World Sleep Day". 2. The Album drops in two weeks. The hype and interest for the band has never been higher. So they will want to capitalize on that and strike while the iron is hot. 3. They are very unorthodox and decide to do something completely different we aren't expecting xD

I'm so happy about the diversity of tracks released so far. This was perfect and needed. I love this side of sleep token just as much as I love their heavy side.

The next two songs are Vore & Ascensionism. Knowing what both of those words mean, we could be in for some more The Summoning, or something else entirely?

I'm so stoked for when the album drops but especially for the instrumental release bc I think the instrumental version of this song is gonna be my go-to bedtime song like literally to lull me to sleep ALSO YOU CATCHING THE USE OF "EDEN" TOO??? like when I first listened to this when it dropped I was at work (bc it dropped at 5pm my time), I literally gasped about it lmao

I think they did the release order almost perfectly. "Chokehold" put them on people's radar, got everyone talking since it was released mostly out of nowhere. Then they piggyback off that buzz to launch "The Summoning" even further than it would have on it's own. I think if "The Summoning'" came first, "Chokehold" might have been a little underwhelming.

I’ll eat my words from a precious comment. I listened to all from on Spotify and they are fantastic! It really clicked on this format because each individual song, imo is good, but together they create an entire atmosphere. Stoked for this to be released now!

After a handful of listens this song has grown on me so much

I didn’t think I would come back to this track because it is so mellow. But oddly enough, it’s now my favorite.

The part after the piano solo just makes me think of EDEN and I'm all for it

Sundowning was realeased a song every 2 weeks, at sundown UK time. Until all were out.

If the pattern holds, we'll get vore and ascensionism the 1st and 2nd of Feb. If they do the 2 week thing for the whole album, we'll get the album mid March, and if not then most likely sometime in June. Cheers

Oh man, you made me remember what was like fell in love with Nazareth and Jaws specially, to later be there in the releasing of The Offering, it was like see them evolve (just in a manner of speaking, I still think of Nazareth as my fav song, they're simply that good).

I remember waiting monthly for the new singles from sundowning as they came out, but I'm loving getting them more frequently.. I just need more!

Sundowning was a track every 2 weeks. my first song by them was the offering, but I was pulled by dark signs. So was around for those days and I loved it :)

I recall it specifically being every two weeks a song was dropped at sundown GMT until the full album was out. Also found them during the release of dark signs and have been holding on ever since. ✊

They released a song every 2 weeks during the actual Sundowning time where they are from. I believe. Anyways awesome reaction once again. Keep it up! And it’s gonna be 12 tracks

I am pretty sure that we got the first batch of songs the day or two before the full moon, and this batch has been the same but for the new moon. Given the focus on the moon for imagery for the Take Me Back To Eden tour (and album, likely), that would make sense

Imo, chokehold makes sense to drop first, it has a long intro sort of thing at the beginning which kind of eases you into the album experience, similar to how Atlantic does, with the initial main focus on vessel’s vocals however with synth instead of piano. I don’t think sleep token are really the type of band to start an album off with an in your face song like the summoning. I like chokehold a lot, I’ve probably listened to it over 50 times now and it grew on me. Opener for me sets the tone for the rest of the album and I doubt the rest of the album will be anywhere near as heavy as the summoning

Didn’t really like it on the first listen but after the 3 time that chorus got stuck in my head it’s crazy

Do you ever got to a gig or listen to an album of another band and think "I think I would like to hear some heavy guitars or electronic right now"? With Sleep Token, you get a bit of everything. Pop hooks, metal breakdowns and some funk thrown in for good measure

this album might be my AOTY. worship.

I feel like the drummer is holding back in these new songs and it's sort of pissing me off, because this track would've been badass with him going intricately intense on his poly rhythms.

I think they’re releasing them in the order of the track list for the album. don’t quote me on this though.

Several Aqua Regia reacts have echoed the same point: this song feels like a very quick 4 minutes

Hopefully there are more tracks like Chokehold and The Summoning on the album, because those kind of pop fillers like Granite and this have 50x times less replay value for me. Prevailing part of TPWBYT was actually those kinda tracks with lack of metal roots, that is why their previous album was not strong enough to be compared with Sundowning which is my favourite yet, will see how new stuff makes sense in context of full new record

Sleep token has continually grown musically and melodically, my only gripe is that the production almost seems TOO good. I though sleep token was perfect on this place will become your death. Vessels vocals were a bit more raw sounding. And overall everything my was a bit more raw. That being said I’m not knocking. Just preference

People love the music at first. They get into the band and find out they have mysterious lore. They delve into the previous music and find out they like it too. They interact online with the rest of the fandom waiting and anticipating the next release which they have no idea how it will sound like. That is the hype.

Not my favorite, sounds like John Legend.

Such a boring and overrated band. There are other bands who deserve more recognition, bands that are more interesting and talented but are still underrated. Sleep Token.. I indeed sleep a lot during it, most of the songs are a build-up and always have to wait for something to happen. Riffs are nothing really new, tone of the voice not my cup of tea. Really overrated, everyone saying omg so genius etc.. pop band.
