International shipping sucks regardless where it is coming from. What we need is a third party bricklink store that can amass you many orders at one location and then when it ships to you, you get an honest rate for one shipment. I often find one person has only a handful of pieces I need and the next person has a different handful of pieces. Those multiple shipping charges often scare me away from buying what I want/need.
