The ONLY 2 Michelin Star TURKISH RESTAURANT in THE WORLD! Chefs Table at Turk Fatih Tutak!

Looking for best Turkish restaurants in the world? Travelling Foodie Raymond Cua ate at the world's first two Michelin star Turkish restaurant and it was one of the best meals I had in Istanbul! Watch as he experiences the Chef's Table tasting menu with wine pairing plus goes behind the scenes at the restaurant and chefs.
Chef Fatih Tutak is Turkey's first 2-Michelin Star chef in Istanbul and promotes the best of Turkish cuisine around the world! At the Chefs table, Culinary Director Chef OGÜN KOCA is behind the pass making sure each course comes out perfect. Tasting Menu came out with 11 courses in total. And a unique experience is, during the dessert course, you get a kitchen tour along with extra desserts right inside the kitchen.
Hope this Istanbul restaurant vlog gives you an idea what the dining experience is like inside 2 Michelin Star Turkish restaurant, Turk Fatih Tutak. I highly recommend checking it out.

Also, in case you're wondering what those herbs and spices were: 1) TT Nane is mint 2) Beyranlık is chilli pepper 3) Kuru reyhan is dried purple basil

Such a wonderful culinary experience! The wine pairings were on point, and pours were pretty generous. Do you always do wine pairings?

I just came across your channel and this video. And I really admire your passion and effort to trying shows and explain to us what you actually had experience. I would like to give only one suggestion that if you can review and explain every each dish after you taste, it would be better.

That is fantastic.. you are eating food I will never even get close to. And the whole experience looks awesome. But the price… did that really just cost you 11,000 dollars.

Thanks for watching! It is such a unique experience and definitely a splurge. But I find it's worth it for me. The price on the receipt is in Turkish lyra. So it was around $365. I cannot do $11,000 😅

divide the price with 30 its turkish lira and the price is ok for istanbul you can spend that much on a fish restaurant at bosphorus.

Great video but it can be better if you tell your opinion after each dish. You can also do that after you take the video like voiceover.

Thanks for watching and really appreciate the feedback! I vlogged a Michelin Star restaurant in Athens where I talked about each dish on the spot: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aXmFm8GdodrZgZM.html Is something like this what you prefer? I'll be honest though, vlogging these kinds of experiences is still a learning process for me especially when dining alone with nobody to help me. There are so many variables involved that I take into account, and each restaurant is different. Like I tend to gauge the restaurant service (some will make it easier for me to film, some don't. Some won't event allow.), table (if it's easy for me to talk/setup for talking) and pacing (if i get breathing room between courses), the other diners around me (some get annoyed with what I do and I don't blame them), and my own experience (i still want to enjoy my meal properly especially when I paid $$$$$ for it) then assess the kind of video that's feasible to do on the spot since I don't want to ruin the actual dining experience for others as well (who also paid a lot) in the process. It would be a great disservice to the chefs and the restaurant if I don't eat the meal the way it's meant to be enjoyed. Voiceover is definitely another option to explore. What do you think of me talking about favorite dishes in more detail at the end of the dinner instead? The reason I haven't really done voiceovers is I've been wanting the videos to only show what was taken in-the-moment. Would love to hear your thoughts. I'm always learning. In the end, the goal is for my videos to be better and useful to the viewers. Thank you! 🙏

@@TravellingFoodie People want to see reactions on KZread thats the way to become more popular but i understand that you don't want to ruin your experience and don't want to disrespect chefs but you have to choose what you put first, that is totally up to you :D. I prefer it to be like the restaurant in Athens video you sent but with a little bit better production. You can use a better microphone and a small holder for your camera or phone which could be an improvement also instead of voiceover you can write little notes down on the screen that looks like subtitles.
