for the short screentime she had on the show, she definitely took the opportunity to shine brighter than the others. i love her.

Janice is that person who is irritating at times but you know she’d come round with soup if you were ill.

It’s a shame we didn’t get enough of Janice. She deserved way more screen time. Even though she was annoying, she was a very sweet person and the only woman (before Monica) who actually loved and cared for Chandler. Maggie Wheeler is an amazing actor!

No, we had enough... Janice's appearances were beyond great because of the element of surprise. If she showed up all the time, that wouldn't have worked.

I'm trying to pinpoint what it is. Sure, the voice. And her laugh. But it's also that she makes lame jokes and laughs at them. And that she's not just confident, she's overconfident and teasing. And doesn't read social clues, or maybe she reads them and doesn't care.

Love Janice ❤ And that was real emotion she showed in the last clip, because that was her final scene forever...

Janice deserved way more screen time. She's not only pretty, caring but also hilarious. Loveee 🫶

I can see, why people might think Janice was annoying, but I always liked her.

“This was fun, but I’ve got an invasive vaginal exam to get to”. One of the funniest lines in the show 😂

Looking back Janice wasn't actually that bad of a person. She had a brain, obviously a good job (from what I could tell it was marketing or photography) and she obviously cared for Chandler a lot. Only thing she had against her was the laugh and that she could be a bit loud, which could have easily been a form of masking or nervousness... ... then again, don't we all at one point look back at our ex's and think "they weren't THAT bad", only to forget that they are ex's for a reason.

Nah Janice was great, Chandler wasnt emotionally mature enough for a long term relationship yet (look at how he initially reacts with Monica when the thought of marriage and kids is brought up). He straight up couldnt handle her affection at one point. Her high volume can be grating on some peoples ears. She's also a very bombastic and high energy person which can make her alot to handle. Neither of these are red flags but they can make it hard to find someone compatible. She's lucky she found Syd.

Janice is an amazing person in FRIENDS . She showed a woman's many beautiful sides , strong individual personality in a very positive sarcastic way ! I loved Maggie Wheeler as Janice in FRIENDS ! Without her role , FRIENDS would be incomplete , Chandler would be incomplete . ✨✨🥰🥰😊😊

I love Janice so much. It's too easy to write her off as an annoying plot device. But, she was so sassy and so embedded into the Friends story...yet above it all (and unexpectedly often the voice of reason).

Out of 6 friend's girlfriend and boyfriends, Janice was the only person who was closer to all of them, everyone liked her and she stuck till the last episode. She was like "meant to be in their original friends group but became like an extended cameo"❤️✌🏻

I always loved the scene between her and Rachel, not only when Janice tries to ship Emma with her son, but when they have a tender moment about Rachel being (at the time) most likely a single parent. Showed Janice softer side ❤
