My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.

I know what you mean. I ministered in prisons for 12 years and witnessed miraculous transformations right there! Around 7-8 of those men have since been released and everyone of them are actively involved in the ministry. Truly saved!! One is even Pastoring in Grand Rapids Michigan! I loved serving the men and women who were incarcerated and can see myself returning to continue the work. I'm telling you, mighty, mind-blowing moves of Deliverance take place in jails and prisons! As they were sweep up in worship, I began to visualize myself laying hands on many of those men as the Spirit of God administered deliverance, healing, and salvation! To God be the glory for the things He has done!

And as far as the temptations of this world is concerned there is nothing better than the feeling of knowing you don’t take part in those temptations. My wife passed away 6 years ago after giving birth to our daughter. Every night, I read to her while she stares deeply into my eyes and listens intensely. I know that it probably isn't common to relate this song to a father-daughter relationship, but this song makes me miss my wife so much more. It also makes me love and cherish my daughter so, so much. I know that she won't be like this forever, and daddy won't always be her favorite person, and she will eventually get older -- but right now I'm happy, just spending time, passing it by in her arms.

"When I sat by that hospital bed, You were worthy". This song has literally come into my life the hour I needed it most. My wife Melanie of 5 1/2 years was killed 6 months ago after shots were fired at our home, one of which struck her while she was reading a bedtime Bible story to our 6-month-old. I now find myself a single father with two daughters (1 & 2 1/2 years old) at the age of 26. But despite the immense pain/loss I feel, I know God is good, faithful and worthy to be praised; even when I don't understand it. So instead of cursing or blaming Him, I choose to be like Job, saying "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord". This song is beautifully written and a wonderful reminder to never stop singing His praise!

Jesus came to set the captives free. We all have been imprisoned in some way or another. His love reach through the high walls of the prison. Thank you Lord for your unconditional love for us.We are not a afterthought in His mind.

I am recovering from a wrong relationship that left my reputation extremely turnished...where I have been humiliated not once not twice by people because they keep saying I deserve it...I have been mocked and criticized in a negative way by collegues....I have been crying every day asking God to restore his fellowship and communion with me since I feel like there's a very huge gap between me and my Father....but after listening to this song I feel encouraged and energised to keep pressing on cause God knows me but He still loves me. I would listen to this song every day but a night before one of the scariest exam papers, I listened to this song and the words " late in the midnight hour God's gonna turn it around, it's gonna work in your favor" sounded like I heard them for the first time. I swear!!! They really don't know how anointed they are! When I first heard them I was about to kill myself I had note written and gun loaded and their song "Wait On You" came on my KZread and I never listened to Christian music at all and the ANOINTING ON THEM THEIR VOICES THEIR HEARTS STOP ME DEAD I COULDN'T EVEN MAKE ACROSS THE ROOM TO THE GUN..... and by the time the song was over I was in the floor crying my eyes out!! I didn't realize at that moment that the Holy Spirit was on me strong but I knew there was a presence in the room and in them and their voices that I couldn't explain. And the peace that came over me was overwhelming and that's an understatement!!! I suffered from infertility tried for so many years to get pregnant. I always prayed to god to please bless me with a child. I was watching a mother play with her son on tik tok one day I cried and screamed to God "God please give me a child!!!!!" that same day something in me told me to take a pregnancy test... it came back positive! I couldnt believe it I was in tears and in shock!I took more pregnancy tests and they all came back positive! A week after I found out I was pregnant I found a cross necklace a few steps away from where I worked at and I then knew it was really God all along and never left my side. I now have a 11 month healthy beautiful baby boy. He's turning 1 in a few days! ❤ God is good!💜Amen🙏🏾

Seeing the prisoners worship God is so emotional. This album & tour has been a blessing.

I was a drug addict, homeless, sex trafficked, abused & broken. Today im 4yrs & 4mos sober. Im free, sober and full of joy because of Jesus!! His Goodness surrounds me. ❤ Looking back i can see how & where He was all along the way. Today my 19yr old son is giving his life to Christ and getting baptized. The Lord is Faithful!! 😭🙌

Ughhh this hits home for me bc my brother is incarcerated and I pray that the lord sends an encounter like this to him and his jail mates bc we are all his children regardless of what we have done. Right, people have the wrong perception that if it isn’t in tongues then your not in the spirit, but that is such a wrong misconception. God moves how he wants to with his people, speaking in tongues is a gift given to those who want it, but he can still move like a rushing wind of fire, peace, calm, he comes into the room how he wants to. He just looks for a willing heart and he does the rest.

Let us look to the Word of God to guide us! Acts 19:2-6 shows us Paul speaking about this! "He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied". I encourage every saint to study the word of God for themselves to understand what the bible has to say about the Holy Spirit, and every other topic! Every believer should have an understanding that is supported by scripture. May we learn more about truth and the gospel, and be blessed!

@@janelle1150 I agree! What was saying was speaking in tongues is not the major sign that shows someone has received the Holy Spirit it is being a witness, winning souls to the kingdom of God. I know exactly what Mark 16 says. I am just saying spreading His Love by winning the Lost is a major sign that someone is Holy Ghost filled. Remember Isaiah 61.

JESUS you are so BEAUTIFUL. You saved me and filled me with your SPIRIT in a prison cell in 1991 at the age of 28 having spent from the age of 13 locked up every year in care homes, institutions and prison. I was lost in drug addiction and crime. You are continually healing me from childhood trauma, physical, verbal and sexual abuse. JESUS you have never ever left my side and even when I have made bad choices your faithfulness and love always draw me back in line. Since 1991 I have had the privilege of seeing many addicts and traumatised people find JESUS and have their lives changed through knowing a loving Saviour. JESUS you are beautiful beyond description. I absolutely love you my Saviour, Lord and my best forever friend. JESUS 2022 - ETERNITY Whoever reads this I hope you are Blessed and come to know the Goodness of JESUS

I was born in a Muslim family ...but the love that I have in my heart for Jesus Christ is huge ..I can proudly say that I am a Christian now and GOD has shown that he loves me too.

I was lying down watching my twin babies sleeping and thinking of ways to end this suffering. I fail them everyday as their mother. Then a voice said to listen to gospel music to get rid of these negative thoughts. I'm glad I listened to my inner voice. God bless whoever put this together. My hope is renewed.

I've worked in the incarcerated community teaching GED prep courses for 3 years. They are some of the most beautiful courageous people I've known. Thank you for giving them space to feel loved and feel human.

I love this song. Thank you Maverick City for reminding us that Father God loves us. We do not have to work for His love.
