​@@duff0120 Wrong. NFS is solid series, always has been and still is. There's been like 10 games since Carbon. At this point, you need to realize it's you, not the games. Unbound is majorly slept on because people just don't play single player arcade racing games much anymore, but it's a great game.

I recommend Binary Domain, Azuras Wrath, Spec Ops the Line, Timeshift, Wolfenstein, Ace Combat Assault Horizon, Remember Me, Dark Messiah, Inversion and Fuse. All good games, most of these are great actually. Really defined me xbox experience.

Great video. It's amazing that Splatterhouse has gone up so much! A few years back I bought Splatterhouse as I was getting into older retro gaming and was playing the originals. My wife accidentally bought another copy for me as she didn't realise I'd already bought it. It was only like $6 so no big issue, and I never bothered to return it for a refund!

Shadows of the Damned is one of my favorite games of the 360/PS3 era of games. It's very unique and it's just dumb stupid fun. It's not always been 30 dls I went and bought it again sealed for like 15 bucks on ebay back in 2018.

Your right I got it for 11 dollars back in 2016. But man did that feel like I was overpaying on a 360 game lol. Oh how times of changed. Alice is the one that has always seemed pricey

Good list. I grabbed Alice when it came out and it came with a download code for the first Alice game, which I still have...but I got stuck pretty early on and never ended up starting up Alice 2 because I wanted to beat the first one. That's actually a recurring problem for me...I'll buy a sequel and then be like...well, crap, I gotta beat the first one first...and then I never finish it lol One of the reasons why 360 is going up recently is because the online store is shutting down in July so people are trying to get all their updates and DLCs before the store disappears for good. Also, grab Binary Domain if you don't already have it. Game is so good!

I got Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 on the 360 about 4-5 years ago for £18, now it's ~£45 these days

Never Dead is another obscure game that was pretty good and was on the 360/ps3 by Konami. Plays like Darksiders but your limbs come apart and your constantly putting yourself back together lol game is wild

Katamari on 360 is super fun.

Games that have already been pulled like Deadpool a re a good choice IF you can get passed scalpers.

operation darkness used to be digital for 20 bucks. now it's delisted and 200 bucks physical.

When these games were being traded in for Xbox One’s I was getting them $1-2 each! PS3/WiiU/xbox 360 last discs to collect…Anyone who says you can’t get games for a buck or two back then A: is wrong and not worth listening too. B Too “busy” to make a deal, ask friends or family, go to some yard sales etc. Now all discs are just keys and don’t have the game on them or digital and aren’t worth collecting!

Alice Madness Returns DID come with a manual 360 and PS3. I have manuals for both.

I don't have a ton of 360 games, but the Adventure Time games on it are pretty fun. One is a mystery/investigation game and another is a top down Zelda-like. Also Ducktales Remastered is one of can see going insanely expensive.

The thing with playing left for dead one on left for dead 2 is that there is a fire rate cap on the dualies. This is a deal breaker for me.

Arkham Origins is too expensive for a multi-million seller. Every small online store in Canada is sold out of their copies which makes it pretty clear that people are manipulating prices.

Zoids is a model kit line from japan, which became an anime which is really good btw and then spawned games. Zoids still has kits to this day

I'm think by this time next year the prices will be back to what they were. I'm personally waiting until holiday season. It's fomo and people jacking up the prices.

Xbox 360 games getting expensive out of nowhere? What a strange world we live in. Well, I'm glad I picked up the last games I wanted for that system back in 2015.

Remaster of Shadows of the Damned is coming out this year so I don’t doubt the price of the 360 version will go up. It’s also on ps3.

@@Executi0ner246 for me personally the MGS hd collection is the best way to play Peace Walker too. Plus both MGS Hd and Shadows of the damned are back compat for x1 and series

BLUR! But Blur!! This game deserves to be loved, and hopefully could see a remake.

Sigh I’ve been trying to get Blur since March. But haven’t wanted to drop 50 dollars on it. Even bought a copy but returned it cause it was disk only and missed out on a copy for 30 :/

Personally I think it's worth $50 bucks. I had to buy the game twice because my OG Xbox 360 Red ringed and scratched up the disc beyond repair. It was barely good enough to start the game from the hard drive.

The loading times for Splatterhouse are horrendous & considering how often you're going to die & continue, seeing those monsters roaring & biting at you for minutes does get really annoying. Otherwise, great game.

great video and games but what does the store going down have to do with physical media? ive seen several videos like this and they are fun but 1 has nothing to do with the other the store is going down not the systems. there are many games that we have lost and more we will lose in july but buy them from the store and save some money. alice the madness returns, killer is dead and both left 4 dead games are on the series s/x.

Great point you make there. The problem is that with the store closed games that were “unlimited” to download now become limited commodities. So certain games prices go up. Also I don’t think the left 4 dead 2 dlc or alice madness returns dlc are available on series x. Meaning that 360 only way to play the full exp. If they are then ignore that part. To be honest I don’t know why but the same thing happened when the ps3 store attempted to “shut down” most of it is fomo or scared buying combined with scalpers and “collectors” that buy and resell to buy more taking advantage of the market. I just so happened to get the bug to start grabbing 360 because this years slate of games didn’t appeal to me and the library has been out long enough for enough people to sus out the gems and “rare games” that I can go look for them now. It was also cheaper then my usual ps1 collecting. I wish the prices were zero if I’m being honest lol

Glad I was ahead of the power curve on 360 because they're getting crazy expensive too damn fast.

Theres a few games that people aren't talking about yet, and I can already see them going up in price because they are kinda hard to come by. -Blur -Nier (Gestalt/US version) -Enchanted Arms -MGS Revengence -Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga -The Cursed Crusader - Lollipop Chainsaw Ill give a special mention to Tomb Raider Legacy, Legends and underworld.

@@CarlC9898 It didn't help that Fromsoft is at its peak. After Elden Ring and Armored Core 6, people are going back and picking up their past games. I had been buying xbox 360 games slowly since 2020, but stopped around mid 2022 because I started focusing on sales for newer games I wanted to play. I do get lucky finding cheap games, but I cant bring myself to spend a lot of money at once. So I kept passing on several games that are now expensive, but I picked up most of everything I wanted first. lol

@@NuclearAbyss TRUE, even the dark souls games stopped going on sale so frequently after the success of Elden Ring. It's crazy because I remember those games were less than $20 at gamestop and less than $10 on steam but now they rarely drop that much.

I found a copy of WarTech at a local shop for $7. It’s starting to jump up in price. I was excited to play it, but it’s pretty shitty 😂

Hey I was at EA too, in 2008/09 doing localization QA at the EA European Shared Services office in Madrid. I tested Dragon Age: Origins, Skate 2, Burnout Paradise, The Beatles Rock Band, NFS: Undercover, NBA 09, among others 🙂 EA was releasing some great games back then, some of the ones I worked on but also Mirrors Edge, Dead Space, Dante's Inferno, The Saboteur, Rock Band 3... Ofc Alice M.R. as well. Which has probably become the only rare/expensive one.

I bought BulletWitch years ago randomly at my local Gamestop for about $8.99, and I recently bought all the DLC for it from the Xbox 360 Marketplace. I also got it signed by Sarah Natochenny (voice of Alicia Claus) 💙. I own both Left 4 Dead games. My dad bought me L4D1 for Christmas years back and I bought L4D2 at Gamestop on my payday years back too. I bought Alice Madness Returns from Ebay around the end of December 2021 for $28 and got it on my 32nd birthday, and it looks and plays better on my Xbox Series X. I just wish EA would let American McGee make Alice 3!

You missed the 3rd game of 360 exclusive turn based tactical atlus games. Spectral force 3. It has already gone up but it is probably the least known of them. I have seen Alice and icon at flea markets but never was interested in them. Everyone says Alice is good though so I might pick it up.

many of the 360 discs that i have seen from friends, second hand stores, goodwill and online have some small bits of disc rot. Ya'll think you are sitting on a goldmine but you about to be disappointed long term. I am getting rid of my 360 collection after this summer

need for speed most wanted 2005 on 360 gotta be mention. the only modern version of the game, since ps3 wasnt out during that time. ps2,gc,og xbox versions arent as good as the 360 version. u cant buy most wanted on xbox shop either or on any pc shops or even run the 360 cd backward compl. with xbox series x or xbox one.

Splatter house is awesome because they just don't make games like that anymore! Bulletwitch is actually a horrible game..I don't see why the price of that one is going up so much.

Years ago #MetalJesusRocks did a series of videos praising 360 collecting. I'm happy I went out and grabbed a few of his recommendations. The 360 is fast becoming the next after market grift. Sure these type of videos don't help the situation but I can't blame "content creators" for trying to make a buck online. What else are they going to do? Get a job outdoors?!

The 360 is still a great console to buy for, and I do feel like some of price inflation right now is speculative buying - just like what happened when the PS3 closing was announced. Thankfully, those prices have since moderated as well.

I didn’t even know what I was buying when I picked up Inferno Vengeance back in November for $9, I was floored to see the price for it recently

If people are going around inflating prices, you telling more people will only add fuel to that fire.

double edged sword my friend, i wouldn't have grabbed a lot of the games i got if not for other youtubers videos mentioning games that i was interested in and showing footage. just so happens right as i was doing that everyone else seemed to have the same idea

All these steep price spikes are purely Fomo speculation. They are no more rare than they were 6-8 weeks ago. I mean honestly even by your reviews some of the games are garbage but they are asking $50+

You mean 14 Xbox 360 games to buy digital before the store closes physical is never going to disappear why would I want the physical over the digital so my cd can get stuck in the console that’s dangerous Microsoft made 2 bad consoles the original Xbox and Xbox 360 your CDs can get stuck inside they refuse to open

Prices are speculative because of videos like this. Creating unnecessary FOMO. It’s artificial value. There is no reason a game like Bullet Witch should be selling for $30-$40. It’s a terrible game.

I dont need any of these. I have Alice Wonderland and like 300 other xbox360 games. Its enough. Last xbox360 games I ever bought were now on sales when the store closed. Im done collecting xbox360 games. Prices can go up all they want. I bought mine over the years dirt cheap
