Puma for the last maybe 2-3 years have been sneakily making good boots. Plus since they aren’t that overly popular,you get these boots at discounts after a few months

@Teamgeist wanted to put those years but remembered how terrible the early evospeeds and puma king were. But damn the first two evopower models were quite comfortable and really great to wear. Also the evotouch man that silo was just so so good. Also the evospeed 1.4 and 1.5(excluding the SL variants) were really really great.

@@BATMAN-hk7sx 120 in today’s day and age would be a football boots bargain of the century especially for such a model. Cheapest pair of boots I bought was the launch colorway of the Nike Tiempo Legend V at a local mall for 80 bucks some 7-8 years ago lol. The shop assistant told me that was the last pair and thankfully it was in my size 😂

Puma has been really stepping up their boot game love to see it! Affordable and still delivering

Puma slowly becoming the best brand ... Just need to sort out the leather boots

@@laguti17 I have the Lazertouch 1.2. I didnt like the leather on those - quite stiff and not very pliable...also the sole separated from one of the boots quite early. Sole separation has been an issue for most of my Puma leather boots for some reason. However, I still like their boots

Tried it on yesterday, wow! felt so good better than some more expensive boots

Oh that toe box being slimmer is an intriguing change!

i think this boot is just brilliant, simple and effortlessly amazing

Yessir got mine into and I absolutely love them. Can’t wait to give them a go

@@bieryguevara7076i had the black version of these for almost 7 months, held up very well and there was no ripping anywhere on the boot apart from some of the colour going away here and there. I now have this colourway for about two months and they look as good as new

I had to send the 1.3 back because of the excess space in the toe box so this is great to here that they’ve sorted it!

Had all the current top range speed boots including the Vapor 13 and these are best by far imo. Comfiest, lightest, grippiest, still really aggressive. Always puma for me these days

Somewhat yeah. They are also lighter if you hold them side by side

It would be great if you could make a review on second takedown model to see if it is as good as first takedown for the price

I bought ultra 1.2 and after roughly 2 months they started falling apart.. The same happened to me with the puma king platinum when after 2 trainings it fall apart completely and a friend of mine at the same training he was with puma ultra and happened to him too. Puma’s durability is shit.. not a reliable boot at all… for me at least. Although I think future z are durable but I’m not sure haven’t tried it.

They just releasing a new colour in silver. I have the 2.3 (which is awesome btw!) so will be getting the 1.4s in the new colour too. Highly recommend the Ultras...

@@dannylyons824 I made the mistake of listening to a few reviewers and buying the 1.3 true to size and honestly I don’t know how anybody can wear it like that! Way way way too much room. I bet you half a size down will fit you perfect in the length!

@@thefreestyler25.warthunder I would say yes? I returned the 1.3s but from what I remember they weren’t especially narrow. The other thing I’d say is a lot of people think they have wide feet when they really have fallen arches. There’s exercises you can do to fix them. I’ve been doing them for a few months and I’ve noticed an improved fit in narrower boots.

This is just me but I think puma for the last few years even we can argue that their boots lineups are as good if not better than what Nike or adidas have. Prior to the king platinum 21,they do make great alternatives to what Nike and adidas have been offering. Just kinda sad they don’t have that recognition they throughly deserves

@@chanchaniceman absolutely agreed 💯, for some reason Puma always seem to be overlooked especially with younger generation. I constantly see kids wearing Adidas and Nike take down models before trying a top end Puma boot for roughly the same price🤷‍♂️. It doesn't make sense to me at all. Like you say apart from the new King boot,previous models were awesome 👌, the new king kinda let's them down a bit.

Josh I’ve never heard you mention the heel volume of the Ultra’s. As someone who has a thin heel, my heels are swimming in the ridiculous amount of volume in the heel of the ultras. Would it be too much to ask that they increase the padding in the heel so that it could form to people like myself?

The last two evospeed models(1.4 and 1.5) were actually good.. the puma ultra line definitely is the true replacement

My only issue with the 1.3 for me was an awkward amount of heel space it felt like I was not secure in the boots? Has that changed at all anyone know?
