My theory as to who reported him is that he isn't even a guy in the chat. In fact, the person I'm thinking of isn't even part of any StarCraft community. The evidence is all circumstantial, but if it did end up being that person I would not be surprised in the slightest.

Arty's words ring true. He can handle matters like this well enough on his own. I'm not playing devil's advocate but Hexeract has been pushing it for some time even more than usual. It's entirely possible that whoever reported him was just sick of the new meta or perhaps felt that they were on a crusade to save Artosis from the mean doughknows. I agree that banning Hex outright without Artosis's explicit involvement/agreement for things done on Artosis's stream isn't viable and was ill conceived. The good news is that it will only be a week before we get to hear about wario tonguepunching waluigi's box etc.
