Well they do need the gem to be able to control the water fully but Adrien can still control it on the other hand Marinette can’t, tho the water doesn’t harm her but she doesn’t rlly like it cause she is from the fire kingdom (idk if this makes sense honestly but maybe I might put something about that in part 2)
