Christine - Yep! For years I've said he is in a class of his own. Glad to see someone agree with me! Ha! Just rewatched his 2012 ETA victory. He's still just as good and looks great!

An ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist) is just what it says - it's a tribute to the ultimate. I've watched so many through the years. People tend to misunderstand the difference between a tribute and trying to be Elvis. I don't think any of the ETA's are trying to be him. Watch Ben Portsmouth win the ultimate back in 2012. He's been around a while and for me, there's none better. I understand what you're saying and appreciate your comment.

@@asthecrowflyzwithkristi7321 I was scared at first then he became a friend .😊I met him before a show some guy walked up said you wanna meet him I said oooh no..I dont want to bother him rehearsing and he came up to me said your tommy arent yea from our talks on messager I was completely floored umm yea flustered .. like a little school girl . He looks so much like elvis my hero since mom poped me out and his personality and charm is so overwhelming .. even after the show I chatted with him just in aw .it was a outdoor show extremely hot summer night but what a great day. I'll never forget it. Still trying to get him to my hometown arena same place elvis was November 56 .its still used for concerts same lights and everything still there .I know Ben would love being there and mom said she'd make her banana pudding for him and my girlfriend said she cook hom a country homemade dinner 😊hey wait a second neither one gave done that for me in a while lol..but for Ben I wouldn't mind 😊😊

When Ben took out the 2012 Ultimates Competition in Memphis, it was unaniminous! Watch the video; it's incredible! His moves, vocal prowess and charisma are astonishing. He makes it look seamless, and effortless!

I have seen a lot of Elvis impersonators been here is pretty good at it he's got somewhat of a good ideal look of Elvis Presley his moves is right down he sings pretty good as him a lot like him he's nice looking I always loved Elvis's jumpsuits they're so beautiful and attractive I like it when the lady whoever is filming this zooms in closer so I can see him up close to get his face to see more what he looks like this was a good concert I wish I could have went and seen Elvis in person myself or even go see Elvis impersonator because I don't get to see them like a lot of people

No one will every be better than Elvis himself, it’s just not possible. People can copy anything, however when it comes to Elvis, he had something that just can’t be mimicked, his personal charisma on stage that only and will forever his. With Elvis you never knew what he was going to do or say or what song he was going to sing. He’d start some songs just saying “well well well well well…he had his whole band, orchestra, JD Sumner and the Stamps quartet, The Sweet Inspirations and Kathy Westmorland, they all had to watch Elvis every move to stay in tune with him. Even the audience were on the edge of there seats at what was going to happen next, and that can never be copied or duplicated. I’m not knocking Elvis impersonators, because they are Elvis fans also. I just miss him and always will!

I'm with you - I will miss him forever. Elvis Tribute Artists are not really trying to impersonate him, they are giving a tribute to him. I give credit to every one of them. Trying to fill the shoes of Elvis is completely nonsense but giving a tribute and really feeling Elvis on stage must be quite a thrill.

@@asthecrowflyzwithkristi7321 Ben does a great job but Shawn has the more powerful vocals and projection. That’s one of the reasons he won the worldwide ultimate Elvis tribute artist competition. Ben definitely wins in with looks and stage presence but he “yodels” a little too much for me. That’s why I think if they could combine both guys into one person, the likeness to Elvis would be so close, it would be scary but let’s not forget, there’s only one king. Elvis was the greatest to ever do it! TCB!

It’s weird to me that people actually make a living trying to be somebody else. Do we really need Elvis impersonators? There was only ONE Elvis and nobody will EVER be able to duplicate him. If I want to see Elvis, I watch Elvis. Anyway, as far as wannabe Elvises go, this guy is very good.

Elvis Tribute Artist - - so much goes into being an artist. I've watched so many, and they all do the very best they can to give tribute to a man who could never be duplicated. There is only one Elvis and I think all of these gentlemen know that. Some are better than others, but they are only giving TRIBUTE, not trying to be!

I know Shawn was actually Born in Pennsylvania before Ben and Shawn is actually person doesn't know what is it than and he did explain wow that's mean Ben don't know Elvis because he just being Elvis fan first time for reason and Ben just as copy person and I know I saw everything is lies and Shawn is too smart of everything and he is cheater and they put him same sentence as Elvis and I just tell me why you are willing to Ben again and I don't blame with Ben and he will take Elvis Presley forever and why he did that how he did it or when and Shawn wants his kingdom back and he will gone crazy and he didn't regret it end it well because Ben will take away from him forever and how you going to stop this making up.

@@riskyie2607 My dear friend. Shawn and Ben are Elvis Tribute Artists. They both know what they are doing, and they both know they are NOT Elvis. Nobody will ever be Elvis. I don't think Ben takes anything away from Shawn. They are two different people doing what they know and love the best - paying tribute to the King, the best way they know how. I've watched Shawn and I think he is quite talented. Both gentlemen are getting older but still give us the best of their talents. Shawn has his kingdom and I guess Ben does too. We just need to enjoy them. There are younger guys coming along who are quite good too. Have you watched any of them? Thanks for your comment!

@@asthecrowflyzwithkristi7321 Ben does a great job but Shawn has the more powerful vocals and projection. That’s one of the reasons he won the worldwide ultimate Elvis tribute artist competition. Ben definitely wins in with looks and stage presence but he “yodels” a little too much for me. That’s why I think if they could combine both guys into one person, the likeness to Elvis would be so close, it would be scary but let’s not forget, there’s only one king. Elvis was the greatest to ever do it! TCB!

It’s weird to me that people actually make a living trying to be somebody else. Do we really need Elvis impersonators? There was only ONE Elvis and nobody will EVER be able to duplicate him. If I want to see Elvis, I watch Elvis. Anyway, as far as wannabe Elvises go, this guy is very good.

Elvis Tribute Artist - - so much goes into being an artist. I've watched so many, and they all do the very best they can to give tribute to a man who could never be duplicated. There is only one Elvis and I think all of these gentlemen know that. Some are better than others, but they are only giving TRIBUTE, not trying to be!

I know Shawn was actually Born in Pennsylvania before Ben and Shawn is actually person doesn't know what is it than and he did explain wow that's mean Ben don't know Elvis because he just being Elvis fan first time for reason and Ben just as copy person and I know I saw everything is lies and Shawn is too smart of everything and he is cheater and they put him same sentence as Elvis and I just tell me why you are willing to Ben again and I don't blame with Ben and he will take Elvis Presley forever and why he did that how he did it or when and Shawn wants his kingdom back and he will gone crazy and he didn't regret it end it well because Ben will take away from him forever and how you going to stop this making up.

@@riskyie2607 My dear friend. Shawn and Ben are Elvis Tribute Artists. They both know what they are doing, and they both know they are NOT Elvis. Nobody will ever be Elvis. I don't think Ben takes anything away from Shawn. They are two different people doing what they know and love the best - paying tribute to the King, the best way they know how. I've watched Shawn and I think he is quite talented. Both gentlemen are getting older but still give us the best of their talents. Shawn has his kingdom and I guess Ben does too. We just need to enjoy them. There are younger guys coming along who are quite good too. Have you watched any of them? Thanks for your comment!
