The Omega Spectre Limited Edition Watch Revisited | In conversation with The Bond Experience

In this video I am joined by a very special guest, David Zaritsky of The Bond Experience.
David joins me for an early morning discussion about the Omega Spectre Limited Edition watch which we have both owned since it's original release in 2015 as well as so many other topics!
About David:
When David is not running an advertising and marketing company, his hobby is The Bond Experience which is primarily a video blog where he discusses Bond experiences and the people and brands that help to create those experiences...
The mantra of living like Bond, one moment at a time emanates from a concept of experiencing the joy of collecting small moments in life that add up to amazing journeys and stories....whether it's through style, locations, literature, fitness, and the movies themselves the world of Bond is explored through its people and their stories.
Ultimately though, The Bond Experience channel is a celebration of the James Bond franchise and the many people that form a true community. Our core mission is to create a strong connection in the Bond community amongst all the fans, regardless of interest or demographic.

The SPECTRE watch is definitely my favourite watch from the Craig era. While I'm not in the financial situation to get one, I did get an alternative as a birthday present. That watch is the Lorier Neptune Series III. While it will never be just like the Omega, I feel that it has the vibes without being a carbon copy. I really enjoyed the podcast!!

Great video. For anyone looking to get the Spectre watch look, just purchase the Omega Seamaster 300 Heritage model and add the black and grey NATO. Very close look with the bonus of now being Master Chronometer Certified. 👊

Really really enjoyed this. Jealous of both of you, and equally as happy for you both. I loved the point that was made about how some items not having the 007 branding can make it like an invisible hobby at times. That adds to the spy and super sleuth element of certain props or collectibles. Great perspective to consider. I personally love the Uber branding of the OHMSS Omega watch for the exact opposite reason, however hear you both talk about it from the other side of the coin makes me appreciate those elements, and both main watches in question, that much more. Thank you.

Great video. I feel I’m in this club too as I own the spectre and the NTTD (and a gruen 510, Rolex sub, three seikos, goldeneye seamaster and all of the planet oceans!!) I would say the spectre is my least worn Omega but watching this has made me want to go and put it on right now. Thanks for doing this.

I wonder how many of these watches were sold due to Mark's classic video? I know that I watched it over and over before finally taking the plunge. I doubt that I would have bought it without his thorough overview...which led to me buying the NTTD watch a month before the world locked down and the movie was delayed.

Of all the watches in the Bond universe from the original Rolex in Dr No to No Time to Die, this Spectre watch is my favorite. I love the homage to classic Omega Seamasters from the 60's, I love the design and I love that it was Craig's first actual gadget/tool watch. Mostly it's a beautiful watch. Fun talk, thanks Mark and David!

As far as NTTD vs Spectre, I feel the NTTD was very much consciously designed around the idea of Bond while the Spectre is more traditionally a "luxury" piece. I kinda feel the Spectre is the better piece for those who aren't as experienced with luxury timepieces and the NTTD is better for those who are more into the watch hobby, as it is truly trying to do something different.

Mark, thank you for this informative video, and for pointing out the changes Omega made on the bracelet, I wouldn't have noticed it! I am so close to pulling the trigger on the NTTD with the original bracelet now. I am also lucky to own the Spectre. May I ask what your 5th Omega is, I don't think you made a video about it (yet)?

Thanks for watching, pleased you enjoyed the video! My fifth Omega was the London Cities Edition, there is an unboxing video on my channel for it. Basically the only watch I’ve not featured a video of was the very first Omega (Seamaster 300 Professional) I purchased. I do plan to do a video with all my collection on screen at the same time in the future and give a run through.

Thanks Mark. Enjoyed that. I missed out on the Spectre when it was available. One of my big regrets not picking it up at the time. Now you have spent more time with the 300 NTTD - which do you prefer wearing more (ignoring the financial aspect) - the Spectre 300 or the NTTD 300?
