Its a shame you missed one photograph in particular: from 1838 by Louis Daguerre of a street scene in Paris, its believed to be the first ever photograph with people visible in it (a shoe shine boy and his customer, who are only visible because they stood still long enough to be caught by the super long exposure of the cameras of the time.) Worth at least an honourable mention.

Stop pretending some images like the first one at 0:10 were enhanced!..This image was clear, BEFORE you sneakily blurred it to make it appear you then enhanced it! Shame on you for lying! Anyone interested can find the original picture on NBC News website under ' Iconic Notre Dame Cathedral through history'.

Dear Bright Style, The shots of high bourgeois Parisian women's fashion from 1900 to 1905 are incredibly fascinating. Especially the fashionable figure at 4:00, the studio model at 5:51, the Hippodrome Auteuil at 6:18, the Great Exhibition at 6:47, and 10:37 in Bois de Boulogne. Thanks for this! Love andrea

Some lovely photos much still recognisable today. The Paris cafe scene hasn't changed much. The biggest difference is the automobile replacing the horse. I still enjoy visiting Paris and walking the streets, particularly along the Seine and around Monmartre.

That’s a shame. Last time I was in Paris was 1989. I though it was a beautiful place. I had a baguette stolen from my rucksack. I forgave that. But I hadn’t seen La Haine. I heard that St Denis ? Is one of the most violent places in Europe.

Some districts are full of migrants, but not everywhere. Don't exaggerate. For this mess, a big thanks to the globalist mafia who try to apply their dumb multicultural ideology everywhere. It's the same thing in most of Europe. UK, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Italy, etc...With some exceptions, like Switzerland.

Love the pictures. Even though there were great advances made since then, and back then millions were sick and hungry, the people living in those times were generally happier than today even with a easier and more plentiful lifestyle we enjoy. We really have not come as far as we should have. War crime hate division overt squalid sexuality morals even aimed at children, no, we are quickly moving backwards not forward. The world is on fire, Rome is burning. We have learned nothing.

Breathtaking buildings and architecture, note the small details, the effort required, the artistry, the craftsmanship. At the same time, the streets are unpaved and there are carriages pulled by horses, or pushed by people. One almost gets the impression that these wonders of architecture were not created by these people, or this society.

It’s all very nicely done, but I would go easy on the portraits which should be a cleaner, sharper version of the original ones, but not so sharp and so clean that they look like they were shot with the latest full frame digital camera ;) The more you let AI decide on what the portrait should look like, the further from the truth the portrait is.

I'd like to know by whom and when all that magnificent infrastructure was built, plus all those huge Cathedrals, during this age of horse and cart, and considering when the industrial revolution allegedly happened. The first rail track EVER was made of wood and went from Stockton to Darlington in the north east of England, to aid in coal transportation in 1825! The history books are pure lies...AND EVERYTHING THATS IN THEM!!
