In today's video, we wanted to do an activity in St Augustine that has been on our radar for quite some time. We finally decided to tour the oldest fort in the continental US called the Castillo de San Marcos in St Augustine, Florida. The fort was completed in 1695 and is free to walk around the outskirts of it. However, if you want to go inside the walls, there is a fee. Once inside, there are so many rooms you get to explore and you get to go to the top of the fort, which has amazing views of St Augustine. They do have a gift shop and some restrooms. There are a lot of rooms to explore in the Castillo de San Marcos but it was really cool to see. It’s crazy to think how old it really is. They do have some places that you can see very old carvings in the walls as well as an old jail cell and you can crawl through a very small hole to see a room.
