As somebody with the Toospin toy, it does have waist articulation however, it is very very limited and you get only 3-6 degree of movement making it useless

Fun fact. Ride evac design used Roadbuster. So the fact that their transformation is very similar is neat

I miss these guys. They were among the first few figures from DOTM that I got along with bumblebee. Not to mention how into nascar I was and am. Pissed me off we never got deluxe Leadfoot here because Reed Sorensen was my favorite Racer back then.

I have owned the Roadbuster figure since it came out in 2011. I had no idea the hip wheels moved! That is crazy!

So as a kid I absolutely loved my topspin, when he broke I was absolutely devastated. Years later I had the amazing idea to fuse him with multiple broken transformers of the following, 2011 skids, 2011 mudflap, 2014 evasion Optimus, 2011 bumblebee, studio series dino, and an old lego Optimus. After mashing them together I decided to give him the name Wideshot, he's in perfect condition and I absolutely love him

As someone who had a roadbuster when dotm came out, I was today years old when I found out the hip wheels move down 😅

I actually just got this Topspin figure last week, along with Human Alliance Leadfoot and Roadbuster. Store owner even gave me a 20 euro discount for nabbing the three together, which considering Topspin was listed as being 25, that's as close to free as you can get. Glad I had a lucky find like that!

Two of my all-time favs. FYI, there are panels that fold out on Roadbuster’s missile launchers. The green panels on his lower legs also rotate a bit. And the arm ports aren’t spring loaded, only the top panel is. Would love to get a Leadfoot someday to complete them.

After years of trying to get all the DotM wreckers just not able i got the SS ones when they were released and i am super happy with them all being in armored vehicle mode. They are the only SS i have left. But these were awesome way back when

BTW I like how often you post it's really nice getting to watch a new vid every 2 days

So glad I rushed at getting a Leadfoot back in the day, the lineup is so fun. Just wish we'd gotten Roadbuster in his bulked up form... The reprolabels for these things also elevated them so much. Also even liked the race-car conversion Bumblebee mold with the racing nets for the door windows, really cool stuff. Ultimately I wonder if the Studio Series Roadbuster might not fit in better with the other two, though (I suppose scale might be an issue but I still really love Topspin and Leadfoot)

Topsin is well articulated! For MPM Wreckers, I want them to base it off THAT MOLD

Which a 3rd party company actually did a KO OS

I did a silver dry brush on topspin's gray parts to match the painted silver on his waist. Also painted some of the blue guns and pipes on his car mode silver and boy does he look great.

This video came at the perfect time I was just thinking about getting a Roadbuster to go with my Topspin. Topspin was a childhood figure for me and when I got him again I was so surprised at just how good he actually was.

I once handled a Topspin. It was missing its legs. If I could find some of these old DOTM toys, like Topspin, Roadbuster, or Soundwave, I'd die a happy man.

I remember when I got Human Alliance Roadbuster, goddamn that figure was the first time I had a transformer that felt "premium".

I own roadbuster, the 5mm ports aren't spring loaded on mine either, a thing pops out on the other side of arm to help push out whatever you stick in the 5mm cuz it's a snug fit

My Roadbuster despite it's age and a few missing pieces (including the weapon and the missile pods) remains as a solid figure in my collection

The green panels of Roadbuster's inner lower legs rotate out for robot mode, and the missile clusters over his shoulders have another panel on the sides that fold out for robot mode

I had both of these at one point. I have no idea where topspin went. I have one small piece from the back of the car as well as the guns. I still have rosdbuster but he’s yellowed on the arms somehow despised no sun exposure. I kind of want to buy topspin again, I really like his vehicle mode.

Ah, I remember having two Topspin Variants. The Original and a Grey and Red one (I forgot the name for it) I always thought the transformation was so clever. I miss owning it..

I owned roadbuster as a kid and I have Topspin now, and love them both. I want SS Roadbuster and Leadfoot so I can finally complete the set. And Topspin just stomps his SS Figure imo. But SS Roadbuster and Leadfoot I say are worthy updates imo.

I never had these deluxes back in the day, though a cousin had Topspin. I did get a DOTM topspin from a friend but he was in eh condition and I needed up selling it off, which I do kind of regret. Currently the G1 toy is my only representative of that character. Thanks Titans Return scalpers… I never was able to get Legion Topspin as a kid either, though I did pick up legion Roadbuster and Leadfoot. Leadfoot came in a two pack with a blue repaint of Cyberverse Commander Ironhide who I just decided was the third wrecker now

The KO Leadfoots are solid. I picked one up a few years ago and it's still intact. THF-02 THE PLUMB was the one I got

I know that the Takara DOTM Duluxe Leadfoot is pretty much made exclusively from Unobtainium??? But there are other KO options to getting that Figure like Toy House factory THF-02 or the Dream Factory GOD-03 both of which have been out for some time and are quite scarce now but worth seeking out and a darn sight cheaper than the official figure...😊

I got roadbuster at a con new in box a few months ago and didn't know about the wheels either

I used to have a full set of studio series wreckers but *huge epic breath in* leadfoots chest door snapped and over time became loose, topspin wierd shoulder door broke and his head disappeared, and roadbuster just poofed out of existence.

Got my hands on a knock-off version of the original Leadfoot from a local shop for really cheep, it appears to be almost identical except all the brand logos are slightly misspelled. All I'll say about it is a modified Gordon Ramsey meme: "Where's the bloody pegs!"

Crazy how the best three modern figures of these guys are Titans Return Topspin, Wreck N’ Rule Leadfoot, and T30 Roadbuster They can be bangers but not in the designs where they’re actually a trio apparently lmao

You can search for the KOs from Dream Factory of these Wreckers, they retool a lot of parts for movie accuracy

The arm panels on topspins never had spring loaded mechtech 5mm, thats just how it was designed

speaking of leadfoot, I heard rumors that baiwei is going to do a SS version with possibly some upgrades of that guy. (if its true, I might finally be able to start my wrecker collection)

I used to have human alliance roadbuster and leadfoot and my mom got rid of all my transformers but I remember both of them being a pain to transform

THE ROADBUSTER is the wrecker that i want the most it just looks fun

I got SS Leadfoot in Montreal for $70 CAD, I think the same guy has another one for $160 now, which is insane.

I always thought it was weird they did one as a clean version and one as the armored up version. It seemed really silly to me especially with Leadfoot being armored up too from what I remember; like why not just pick one so all three wreckers would match??

Have had both of these since I was a kid (had a redeco of Topspin idk of what but it was grey), I feel old for some reason now LOL

I have the "Autobot Armor" repaint of DotM Topspin (if I can ever get the original blue, that's gonna be Topspin with the gray one being Twin Twist). If I can get a DotM Roadbuster, I'd rather make it a nod to G1/T30 being a big boi and get the Human Alliance one. Good luck tryna find that Takara DotM Leadfoot (AND Soundwave), though.

I bought Topspin for £8 in a bargain store. They did have the grey and white one but I didn't liked the colour on that one. Have lost his mechtech weapon but had kept his main weapon which is more important! This was before I came back into the fandom so when I saw the SS version, I was unimpressed how small he is (didn't know the smaller size are the new standard) to the mainline version so I never got him.

so back in I think 2010 or 11 I used to owned roadbuster but he broke and I think it was on the back and I have no idea what happened to it

You didn't technically do anything wrong by the wheels, at least according to the instructions, because the wheels and most of the upper arm transformation isn't in the instructions, I remember this shit somehow. Also you can relax on the "chalking it up to being used" because I got mine sealed at a yard sale, very awkwardly taped together with sealed deluxe starscream, (very slightly regret not getting the sideswipe soundwave combo) and it took only like 2 weeks for mine to manifest very similar defects, mine has a doubly floppy shoulder on just one side, the head likes to split from the ball joint, various chips and gouges in the plastic abound, and the wheels have rusted pins because my sister hid it in the yard for a few days Also those little panels on the insides of the shins, those also move, that however CAN be chalked up to misremembering the instructions

Studio series just makes me want the originals (almost) every time

I still like these guys a lot, but I prefer the Studio Series Roadbuster and Leadfoot. But the original Topspin is the one that sits on my shelf. He’s so interesting and cool and he fits right in with modern movie toys so I probably won’t be getting the Studio Series.

Original deluxe Leadfoot is awesome, I have it. The other two are meh. The Studio Series versions were also pretty meh, but at least they weren't subject to the QC issues these original two had.

I always found it annoying that, despite it kind of being their whole thing in the movie, none of the toys released during DOTM had a complete set of fully weaponized Wreckers in alt-mode. With the deluxes it was Roadbuster, Human Alliance had Leadfoot (not to mention HA didn't even get Topspin), and with Cyberverse (not that one) it was Topspin. And yeah I know Roadbuster can do the thing where his rocket pods can fold out in car mode but that doesn't count.

Better plastic, better design, better size. Yes, sometimes, old toys are better

Roadbuster is the only Wrecker I need, but his original figure is too plain and his SS figure is overpriced.

My favorite transformers have always been the wreckers especially roadbuster so I honestly prefer the studio series. Because it more accurate and the vehicle mode is perfect. But top spin 100% choose this one
