How can I get the chicken wire to shape into a candy cane and I don't want a flat one I want around 1... I can't get it to stay Hollow up at the top where it curves it always bends in

Dinora Osuna I’d do it in 3 or 4 sections to achieve the curve or hook. You’d have a blocky curve but that would blend and disappear with paper maché.
