Also for a fun episode to see just for one match is a episode of 08 Smackdown where La Familia takes on Batista in a 8 man tag and Batista's members are and I kid you not Nunzio yes actually, Funaki, and the boy himself Collin Delainey just for a throwaway tag match that Batista has.

I remember popping that night bc my man Funaki was in a main event! Smackdown Jun 3, 2008 is the episode. After looking it up on Cagematch, all 8 matches go less than 5 minutes except for the main which gets 10:28. This era of Smackdown suuuuuuucks and I want to hear the boys’ suffer through it

This is the earliest episode of Raw i can remember. I was 7 years old when this happened. When Stone Cold came out at the end of the night you would think the roof literally came off. I get chills legitimately every time I watch it. The promo packages around this time do alot to make this storyline fucking rule. I know people think the alliance sucks but for me it was badass. Two armies just throwing down every week. And the alliance did have some incredible workers in it and they could've road the wheels on this for months. They had other guys coming in throughout. And others who couldve been there that were injured that wouldve made it better. HHH, Jericho, Benoit all could've been team Alliance. They also had Booker, RVD, DDP, Rhyno and the Dudleys. Thats such a solid fucking group. And then we could've had it seem to cool off, enter the NWO and HHH joins them turn that shit into the kliq. Man what couldve been. Have secret allies on both sides. Who can you trust? Man it could've ruled.

Tony Pizza Guy is phenomenal in this episode 😂😂😂 anybody else notice this? He’s got some all timer jokes here.

So I can tell you guys that Cumberland RI and The Friendly Tap is right near the arena in Providence, probably about 15 minutes away by highway. Good place to film as its a small town and you dont have worry about fans getting in the way, despite being close to the big city. I do think they mightve pre-taped it so they didnt have to worry about traffic issues, but anythings possible.

The Invasion is still a good pay-per-view really enjoyed the matches Rob Van Dam vs Jeff Hardy for the hardcore title best match of the night WCW and ECW should have more going after each other and WWF at the time it still would have been an invasion but it would have felt like from everybody and you had time to wait with Scott Hall Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan with the NWO the angle would have worked a lot better

Pretty much the biggest reason it's disliked so much was how much WWE went over during it. The Alliance only won like two or three matches on every PPV. SummerSlam 2001 is a perfect example.
