I'm really liking this channel. Finally he made something I think I could actually do. Many of his woodworking skills are beyond me but I've done a Cob oven for pizza and more years ago. I like this design of a rocket stove with an oven chamber. The only thing I would change would be that tile for the oven floor which did crack. Now that he's cooked on his channel he'll need a cooking show. Keep up the great work Grampa. A fan from Texas.

I love Grand Pa Amu. This man knows how to live a good life with just the basics. There are a lot of good lessons in life here.

There's a lesson for all of us there...think about what you have and use what you got. You would be surprised at what you can do.

Sadly frank the reality is that Amu is the only one doing it in his area.. these days just not enough land and not enough governments will to encourage this life style because that life style will never progress civilization to the stars which in few 1,000 years will be mankind's only hope of survival. But Amu life style would make a good retirement of course only if you start at 50 so by the time your his age which I'm guessing is 70ish you will have enough endurance and strength and the know how to do what he does with what ever natural materials reside in your area.. cuz western and Easter plant life is not the same different methods in reprocessing and manufacturing of the raw materials.. Europe has vines to make rope ties but it's not as noticeable or easy to find as in the eastern forests.

You are an amazing guy Grandpa Amu, your family is blessed to have you.

I love mud oven food, Wish Grandpa Amu would have one of the youngsters put a recipe description for that chicken in the description because it looks great. Never fails cook something good and sit down to eat and here come the kids lol.

To grandpa Mau I would like to say I have enjoyed watching your videos. I like wood working I have got to say you have a special art that you given over the year's. You must have had a brilliant teacher. I have really enjoyed the cooking videos as well. You can put your hands to everything.
