He had so much respect for it that he shot it before it could breed to spread its genes that year...meanwhile he probably passed up a few spikes, letting them possibly breed

Id love to see the score sheet on this deer. By the rules i remember for B&C or P&Y, the most typical points allowed is 7x7. The claim was , it was so rare for a whitetail to even have more that 6x6 that anything over 7x7 would be considered atypical, even if the points in question were matching in both sides . It seems , just by the symetry and sheer point volume, it would go higher than 188. Id just like to see how P&Y looked at this amazing rack.

Yeah something seems fishy. Maybe they claimed common bases and deducted two who points. It looks so much bigger.

I would have thought the score was closer to 200. Nice buck

That’s what I said! It’s almost like they score them according to what they want to. Losing five inches after he done split velvet and fully was hard horned.

Truly a great Prize from the Great Outdoors, to be able to hold still enough to make a kill shot with bow shows great Skill!

I've had a lot of theories about hunting, but ultimately if God puts that deer in front of you, just do your thing and enjoy your moment.

Wow! That is the most magnificent buck I’ve ever seen.❤ ❤❤❤

Nice! It blows me away that the world record whitetail buck with a bow is like a county away from me. Been a record since 1965 I believe. Or some time in the 60’s. Regardless I can only dream of bagging a big buck with a bow. I am really ramping it up and getting prepared for it this year. Planting food plots, setting up treestands in plsces where they naturally travel, etc. the food plots are generally more of my firearm meat getting hunts but it is always worth setting up the extra tree stand just on the off chance that a big one happens to be in the area. On top of that I went and hunted hard for sheds this year to see what bucks I hadn’t seen were on one of our many farms. I finally found something special too. Found a shed with the thickest tines snd base beams I have ever seen. The damn squirrels gnawed off part of it before I could see the whole shed but the half I have is something to truly behold. Can’t wait to play cat and mouse with him this year.

This animal was taken about 5 miles south of where I hunt. What a magnificent buck! Pawnee county is a great place to deer hunt. Large number of pigs though.

Solid af. Now let me say…. Needed another year, not a northern deer, would be bigger if it was a one buck state. Can’t hunt on Sundays, no bait, no salt, don’t use cameras, ect. The non typical bucks are cool and all, but in my opinion the big typical racks like this one just look so much better and awesome. Plus I know they’re a lot more rare than them big non-typical ones

To those that comment and not understanding. We are Hunter's, from time immemorial we have met the game for food and village. I'd rather have this protein from the forest and nature as it is pure food, no chemicals or injections. This animal was given to this hunter by nature as he met the challenge. He respects his quarry.
