Offspring. I get shivers even now. Thw power of their music. Got me inspired 20+ years ago to learn and play guitar. That power... that power!!!

Noodles seems like the nicest guy. I bet he'd talk to any fan that said hi to him. Dex seems cool too, just a lot quieter. Also, 13:50 Bad Religion is my favorite fucking band, I'm so happy to hear Dex mention them.

My earliest memory of music is my Americana album.

Offspring had a really original sound it’s not Cookie cutter punk band. It would be very hard for a band to copy them they just have a very unique sound. I remember watching something about the offspring back in the 90’s when I was a young kid and they said something about the offspring being an overnight success then many years later learning that they started playing together before I was born and it wasn’t till I was a teenager that they absolutely blew up worldwide with pretty fly for a white guy nearly 14 years later! Yeah smash put them on the map but pretty fly made them a household name. Shit in 14 years so many bands came and went, so many bands careers started and ended in that time. They were a band for 10 years before smash came out that’s a long time.

Don't forget how the motocross community adopted The Offspring during the McGrath era!!

IMO Ixnay was actually better than Smash, I always thought it had a more aggressive punk rock vibe to it than Smash did. During Smash I always thought they were still trying to find their sound. But Ixnay I thought should've gotten more recongnition than it did back when it first came out.
