Went to a record and cd shop with some friends age 16 to 18 in 2023 found a offspring album for 1 dollar best album lot of great memories in my car they happened to have 2 copies when there then bad company have a 6 cd changer in my car best part about the car for me and my freinds with our cds mercury millan 2008 with 215,500 miles

MTV became the most popular radio station in the country practically overnight. It was revolutionary to the way music was consumed and the way culture and fashion was influenced. Sucks they lost the core value of what they were. Probably for the best though if you think about it because the music of 2010 and onward that would be on MTV is all shit, unless they were smart and went back to breaking underground artists. Think about how many bands people discovered just by them being watched by Beavis and butthead.

All y'all adults here for a blast from the past. I'm 13 years old and I'm also here for that reason. My mom Listened to this band and many others and I recently had a song stuck in my head from this band. I grew up listening to this in the kitchen on an old vintage radio dancing around while my mom cooked dinner. Or on long car rides to the beach. I just got hit with a huge wave of nostalgia. I'm so happy Im re- discovering this band 😁

Canadian, 32 years old.. I Don’t think offspring has a single bad song. Probably one of the most underrated bands In history. This song speaks volumes though!!!

I've been in love with The Offspring since 94'. They lost alot of their American fan base but never lost me. I FINALLY caught a show just last week and I gotta admit I was a little worried when they came out luke warm but once they saw the huge turn out was for them and not Sublime (who was headlining) they felt the love and by the end of the song was on fire! The rest of their hour was everything I ever thought it would be and I hope they'll be touring more in the US now that they've seen just how much we love them! Long live The Offspring!!!

I know this comment was made 5 years ago, but I gotta chime in. I just saw them last week in Winnipeg with Simple Plan who was also headlining. Same thing. Although there were a lot of Simple Plan fans, or just people who knew their songs enough to sing along. Once they left the stage and, even with The Offspring's intermission tune, people were cheering louder. After the break they started with Come Out And Play and we all got up dancing and singing. It was an awesome show. I wanted to see what other people were saying about their shows on tour. One redditor said he was frequenting the Arby's for his meals here and she said he was super chill and even allowed her to have a photo with him. Glad he enjoyed being here. Apparently the crowd was better this time than the last time they played in Winnipeg. Either that or it was just a way to get us more hyped up lol. I'm pretty sure bands do that, too.

I still remember the first time I heard this song. I was 9, and my brother had recorded the music video at his friend's house because we didn't have MTV. He brought the VHS home, rewinded the tape and played the clip. I couldn't take my eyes off, I didn't know what the hell was going on. My brother then told me that's how high school is like, and it scared the shit out of me

PhD in Molecular Biology... Hence the name “Dexter”. A lot of his lyrics are VERY smart and he’s covered quite a range of topics. I prefer The Offspring from S/T - Conspiracy of One... the band never got BAD... but they were never quite the same after Ron Welty left.

Timeless classic 🔥🔥🔥

This is where it all started for me (sort of). I grew up as a Christian and didn't listen to anything heavy until I got in high school in the early 90's when Metallica's Black Album and The Offfspring's Smash came out about that same time. These two albums opened my eyes and changed my life. I still maintain my beliefs but this music has helped me through many hard times in life and I thank God they were there to keep me sane through it all.

Killer fuckin bass tone. Flashes me back to being about 11-12 and skating around in my basement shooting hockey pucks at the walls.

I was at this show and concur, this was a great snapshot of the SLC punk scene in the 90's. I was a skinny high school girl who loved the pit, and anytime I started to fall, there was always somewhere there to catch me. We punched, laughed, made out, pushed each other around, and were tight AF. I loved our little skater/punk scene.

@@flamingcherryc I was there too. Crazy show for sure. The fairpark had some of the best shows in that era. And the salt lake straight edge kids are even in the video which for good or bad is part of the 90s slc scene history. I was 16 at the time. So much fun.

It took some pretty bad experiences in life to realize how heavy this song is after loving it for so many years

Guys I was 75 when this song came out. I am 100 today, old guys jeep rocking!

I'm 61 and yes we party just like that in the past,all the parties have been won, the girls have been conquered and now I'm just kicking back enjoying these old videos. I really hate the fact that some friends have already passed before me, damn I like to do it all over..

WOW this album came out the year me and my wife got married 30 years ago 1994 I bought this album on cassette before CDs even were out yet blow's my mind where does the time go still the best band out of the grunge era and very underrated

Jamming out in 2020. Hard to believe this song rocked the radio waves 26 years ago. I was in 9th grade and all the students would jam out to this album leaving school...
