Indeed. I was right there watching them play it this night. I was dressed as Pennywise from IT. I hated wearing that costume by the end of the day. It was Hell on earth. But, hey, I saw my favorite band play my favorite album.

Thompter S. Hunson totally agree. Even better than most of the early day recordings you hear. Would of been a sweet concert to see.

i agree that it's a great song but do you really think it's better than say, Genocide? or Burn It Up? Or Blackball? Or Fire and Ice? Or Leave it Behind? i feel like "greatest" might be a reach there, antonio. still love the song though.

I think this song and "Leave it behind" are the best from this album. For me, Ignition is their best album, hands down.

Honestly, if you were to swap this song and Gone Away, I feel like people wouldn't mind. Gone Away is fantastic, but compare it to this song. This one is essentially Gone Away part 2. I know because when I was at this concert, they played this, then Gone Away. If you think about it, the soul lost in Gone Away really has broken him down. So, he wants to die now too. Maybe for his own reasons of wanting to see her? That's how I see it, and really, if you play them back to back, he's going from begging for his life to saying "Fuck it, I'm depressed anyway. If I die, then she'll be with me again." Truly a morbid way to look at it, but I think that's what Dexter intended? To show what that grief really did to him?

That was exactly my first thought. That off-beat snare hit in the main riff ruins all the song's melancholy turning it into a generic "alt-rockish" song.

I was there, it definitely was NOT a bad audience. EVERYONE was moving, this just isn't a moshpit song. I nearly got injured at least seven times by all the people bouncing around.
