    Little tale here: Being pursuing actual spiritual growth in the last years. Prayed the Rosary and went to bed. Next day, "Fr. Ripperger" started ringing in my head. For sure, I have read his name while browsing YT days before. Then I typed "Fr Ripperger" in search bar. Long story short: I've been following his conferences by almost two years now. My results: * Attend confession every two weeks. * Keep it in state of Grace. * Pray at least one Rosary per day. * At least one week-day Holy Mass. * Holy Communion ALWAYS. * Holy Hour Eucharistic Adoration at least once per week * Struggling to do meditation * Reading/studying at least one article of Saint Thomas's ST per week God bless Fr. Ripperger. He's saving many souls by his ministry.

    I’m so glad to hear that God will not remind me of how foolish I was as a young adult. I am truly sorry for those days I caused my folks hardship. I came from a religious family who I know continued to pray for me. I think I was in my late 20’s or early 30’s that God tapped me on the shoulder and said ‘ come back little girl’. Ive been trying everyday since to be what God wants me to be. If I fall I get up , dust myself off and start over. Yes Father I do see evil almost everywhere. This saddens me.

    She would be objectively different from all other human beings. St. Thomas Aquinas did not believe in Mary's Immaculate Conception. He believed in Christ's Immaculate Conception. He believed Mary was delivered from the Adamic Curse at Christ's Conception. She could have been sinless before the True Immaculate Conception of Christ. In my humble opinion it is unlikely she was sinless. The holy seed of God, when Christ was conceived via the Holy Ghost made Mary perfectly Holy: undoubtedly.

    @@josephk4310 St thomas Aquinas is not the Church, he's a theologian and does not have the teaching authority and infallible charisma of the chair of Peter (Mt16:18-19). Only the Church is the pillar and foundation of the truth (1Tim3:15) not individual theologians or saints. If you look at church history you'll see how the Church eventually settled the truth of for e.g. the canon of Scripture, trinitarian dogmas, deity and human nature of Christ etc. beyond the ideas of individual fathers and theologians. 1. There's no contradiction between the sacrifice of Christ and the dogma of the Immaculate Comception. If you read the document of Pope Pious IX the theology behind the dogma is all explained in very clear terms. It was in fact in view of Jesus redemption that God retroactively applied that grace to the BV Mary in order for Jesus to be conceived in Mary's immaculate body. 2. From Scripture the term "Kecharitomene" in Lk1:28 translated as "full of grace" is the perfect passive participle of "charitoo", which means literally "filled with grace" (the effect of original sin was a loss of grace). This verb is in the perfect tense, expressing a fullness of grace by the BVMary which started in the past (her conception) and continuing to the present.

    As a start, you could just say a short prayer or ejeculation such as "Jesus, I love You and I am sorry for all the offenses committed against you." I am sure you could come up with something that is heartfelt for you. It does not have to be long, flowery...just heartfelt. I read that just looking at Jesus on the cross, or looking at His Holy Face consoles Him and makes up for offenses. i assume that is because it causes us to think about the wounds humanity causes to His Sacred Heart. God looks at our HEARTS, our INTENTIONS.

    Can someone tell Father Chad Ripperger to visit Puerto Rico sometime? We have three Our Blessed Mary apparitions and she lived in Montaña Santa in San Lorenzo, PR. Only three priests celebrate the TLM. Puerto Rico is like the island from the tv show LOST. LOST is about purgatory. Point is, it will be a blessing to have him on this island.

    I think I heard Fr Ripperger say that through all the evil lives being lived now that there is a big shortage of grace. I've always found hope in the quote from Romans 5:20 "where evil abounds grace abounds more." Is this still true?

  • @boomct8569

    @boomct8569

    Absolutely, yes the word of God is always true! Fr Ripperger did clarify this briefly and quoted that exact scripture. My understanding is as more evil is being done so the effects of this are severe as but an abundance of grace is available for those with the right disposition so it’s a matter of taking the opportunities and not putting ourselves in a situation where we cut ourselves off from God. Actually I see it a bit differently, I’m seeing lots of unlikely converts popping up, (especially visiting the comments on the Pints with Aquinas channel) so it seems God is pouring out actual graces to really call people to Him. It’s very encouraging to me in this rather depressing moral situation.

    I have so often heard or read the word intrinsic. Now I just learned the word extrinsic. I used to read a lot of philosophy and Im elated to hear Thomism and Saint Augustine. I'll bet they have towers in Heaven somewhere that exemplify their 'philisophy.' Beelzebub is (I believe) the spirit of addiction, excess, and of course, gluttony.

    He said once that Annalise Michel was possesed by Nero, Hitler, Cain, Judas,etc. Where in catholic theology can souls in hell possess bodies? It's almost as if he gets so caught up in his lies about all the demons he tussles with that he gets his theology screwed. Sometimes he says demons only possess you when your sinning sometimes the holier you are the likelier they are to possess you.

    @@anthonyspurgin4265Exorcists differ on how to explain the phenomenon, which is well documented. Some think that the demons identify themselves with their "big kills". So the demon named Hitler would be the one who possessed Hitler, etc. As far as the holiness/evil, he states that sin opens you up to demons, but if you accept the suffering of possession and work through it, you end up holier on the other side. Which is also well attested to in the literature on the subject. I think perhaps you misheard something or misunderstood something. Fr. Ripperger has never said you're more likely to be possessed if you are holy.

Others that help learn the Traditional Faith of Our Fathers: Bishop Richard Williamson, Bishop Sanborn, and lately Father James Mawdsley (Scripture and Tradition). For historical content Father Malachi Martin is a must. His interviews with Bernard Jansen are eye opening to what's with the Vatican today and what happened. Last, but certainly note least, the sermons of ArchBishop Fulton Sheen. Pray the Rosary every day, along with all your Novenas, litanies and personal prayers. God Help you in these trying times.

    I love Father Rippingers talls he tells it how it is. No matter how much the truth may hurt. But many of us myself included need to hear a lot more truth. And if in that truth fault is found in us, we need to own it and fix it. He mentioned ( Im paraphrasing here) how many of us may have spiritual defects within ourselves its our Godly duty to fix them. One thing he didn't mention about this and Im sure hed agree with me here. Is that if we do fix those defaults within us in order to get closer to God. He will bestow upon us many Graces for the harder the Journey the Greater the reward. The longer and harder the road is you travel to him the more he will reward you.
