    Exactly, doing continuous smooth reps was super important step forward for me. At one point I was doing one set of deadlift for 10 minutes.

    Imagine the ROM I could get if my knees didn’t suck lol

    But when I do leg press, sometimes I need to stop for a second to take a deep breath.

    That’s perfectly fine and I’d still consider that continuous reps. You can see here near the end of the set I’m taking multiple breaths between the last reps but it’s quick enough to where the reps are still continuous in my opinion.
