This railtour was to mark the 100th anniversary of City of Truro’s record breaking run in 1904.
The railtour started in Bristol on the 8th May 2004 and ran to Kingswear and return. 3440 City of Truro hauled the train between Bristol and Kingswear with diesel 37197 hauling the train back to Bristol.
On the 10th the reverse happened. 37197 hauled the train to Kingswear and 3440 hauling the return to Bristol.
The videos were taken at Cogload Junction, Whiteball and Teignmouth on the 8th May and at Torre and Burlescombe on the 10th May.
