The Occult Iceberg Explained

Ойын-сауық

In this video we are going to be discussing and explaining various topics of the occult.
Like other Iceberg Explained videos we will start from the most well-known names at the tip of the iceberg and become more obscure as we go further down into the depths. So come with me as we explore the Occult Iceberg.

I've literally been sitting here for an hour finishing his sentences with every single category, and my friends, who maybe had an inkling that I've learned some really specific shit over the years, just sat there like 😐. The only one I found incomplete in scope, was the Freemasons beyond 33rd degree initiation, where they break out the Atlantian/Egyptian hand-me-down nuggets, which of course, is going to significantly change the role one might play as a fraternity carpenter, as well as ask new questions as to their underlying objectives, and likely existence long before the Bolivian Order went rogue.....but hey, 99.9% of people claiming occult insight would have done far worse. Good to see a fellow esoteric nerd knowing dimensional density nerd shit :D

He might’ve posted the full thing but got “cease and desist” orders from some of the mentioned frats. He might’ve had to edit the video when it was already up. They probably have a lodge in your town and when they see people talking openly and freely about their little groups they get upset so that might’ve happened.

40:25 A minor factual error here-- Rasputin was not killed by communists, but by a small conspiracy of nobles led by the Tsar's cousin Felix Yusupov, who hated how much influence Rasputin exerted over the royals. You see, with world war one going on, Nicholas II had to depart for the eastern front to lead the Russian empire's troops. With Nicholas away as commander-in-chief of the army, his wife the Tsarina Alexandra was left in charge as ruler. The Tsarina was woefully incompetent and widely despised by the public on account of her being German, and in every policy decision she made was essentially the puppet of Rasputin. This is why Yusupov and co killed him-- they feared that his influence over the Tsarina would doom the Russian monarchy to destruction.

I know you didn't write the "ice berg", but mearly breaking it down step by step, this, along with many other so called "Ice Bergs" floating around the interwebs.....this is painfully all out of decending order. So many lower topics should be higher on the list, and others should be lower, also so many other things left off, appreciate your breakdown of each topic, as they appear in the list, definitely some of mostly wildly deep expansive rabbit holes one can ever go down. And alot of them intersect time and time again, Each topic you could easily do 10 or more hours each, if anyone really wants to go deep, but this is a great introductory for anyone looking to dig into some crazy shit, whether you believe it or not, others did, and that's why all this actually exists.

Your clip on Rasputin is totally wrong. The communists didn’t assassinate Rasputin, but aristocrats. This is relevant in a video about the paranormal because before his death he told the empress that if he was killed by peasants the royal family would survive, but if he was killed by nobles they’d all die. Also he didn’t swear off alcohol, he was a life-long alcoholic. I learned all this as a high school freshman. Thumbs down.

Rationalism & science are completely different. The former had it that knowledge could be obtained through rational means alone, whilst the latter had it that the knowledge of the former was no more than untested hypotheses. Although the methodology of science is rational, many of its conclusions are anything but, there's no way that rational thought alone would have led to quantum mechanics, for example.

Hermetc philosophy, Carl Jung and Rudolph Steiner provides so much deep understanding of the universe and man. Gnosticism and Kabbalah goes on to rbbit hole of complex spiritual systems, practices. Sometimes they can get tricky. But Hermeticism lays the foundation of it all. It's simple yet expansive. "All truths are but half truths" even great philosophers today should know this. People might wander from a religionist to seeker of occult or vice versa, and Ego is very tricky, Steiner reminds us that Christ is the balance of yin and yang. Jung encourages us to embrace the shadow. Sometimes some occultist thought they can harness the power of the universe and forget that they are the universe themselves. Religionists become dogmatic and ignorant. Both were entitled to the divine ascension but forget Love.

I’m surprised Sabbatai Zevi is mentioned (well, not that he’s mentioned) but that Jacob Frank isn’t. Jacob Frank is one biggest inheritors of Zevi’s following; he claimed he was the reincarnation of Zevi, and then started about taking the Sabbaitian beliefs in his own direction (one that allegedly involved what could be called “acts of deviance” and sinning in order to somehow receive a certain level of grace/forgiveness, and secrecy about one’s true beliefs (like the practices of Donmeh, followers of Sabbatai Zevi who outwardly claimed to be Muslims but privately practiced something else). The Franks are at the heart of so many conspiracy theories, most antiSemitc in nature, though there’s some truth in them, and the details of Frankism and connections to other groups gets clouded by time, and the hot button issue of antiSemitism (connections to the historical Bavarian Illuminati, Continental Freemasonry, the Rothschilds, etc). It’s interesting to note that two large 20th century figures- Pope John Paul II and Louis Brandeis- both likely come from Frankist families (though there is no evidence that either of them were secret Frankists; John Paul II was obviously a deeply Catholic man, and Louis Brandeis was a liberal Jewish man.

Knowledge is concealed in many different ways. A symbol can have multiple meanings. Only the truly initiated know the truth. The occult will always be more fascinating than religion. Or did religion spring from the occult?

Why should knowledge be concealed? Why does one have to be "truly initiated" in order to understand the "truth?" If the truth is the truth, what fear does it contain in having to hide itself amongst certain groups? If we know a tree grows from the ground after you water it, and then after having been grown it is then to be used as wood for the fire, why then, should there be a practice in concealing "the truth" of how a tree "really grows"? Would those that conceal the matter only have something to gain or not gain by this concealment of knowledge? If the truth is not scared of being in the open, what then needs to be "concealed" and why? Pretty sure, we understand that rivers flow from upstream to downstream, why is that not being concealed? Maybe there's a secret way to make the river flow from downstream up? 😶‍🌫

as far as the african esotericism is concerned, i wouldnt say its bastardized. its basis in african traditional religion, regardless of where in the diaspora, is the acknowledgment of ancestors and natural world, along with self prosperity/preservation. The youth in many points of the diaspora have looked towards older forms of traditions and spirituality(Ifa, voudou in haiti, hoodoo in america, palo, etc.) over the predominate christian environments they reside in. the difference between ATR and the other orders and orgs mentioned is that theres not always initiations, theyre mostly rare, most people follow along from family and friends . there also isnt any widespread agenda setting or attempts to spread influence with ATR as seen with rosicrusians and alike. I say that to say theres more than meets the eye as far as the amount of practitioners there are, for example theres women in the christian church who know roots but wont tell about it, and ive heard of prisons allowing inmates to have feast days for orishas. Loved the video, this is the longest comment ive ever left lol

7:38 So much of the original Golden Dawn ritual symbolism is based on Egyptian imagery and archetypes. There's a surprising lack of Christian symbolism in the Golden Dawn. Now Waite's RR et AC is rife with Christian symbolism. Waite was a Catholic and wrote his Adeptus grades as a kind of Christ-Like experience. Too often anything Jewish or Hebraic gets lumped in with Christianity and we get misleading terms like "Judeo-Christian." Even the basic cosmology is very different, such as the basic nature of Angels or Demons, or even God itself. The extensive use of Hebrew does not imply Christian symbols, especially with all of the Egyptian symbols and language in use in the GD grade rituals. Even their Astral Temple was said to reside in Egypt.

All glory be to the most high God: the Father, Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and the Holy Spirit for bringing you back loved one. I believe most people who seek out this knowledge are searching for the source of it and always run into a wall. Always a little bit of soemthing, but never enough of it to fully satisfy. It's this damned serpent who keeps taking information, repackaging it for his own selfish and dark needs, then selling it to people thinking he's accomplished something useful. Constantly baiting ignorant people into their own demise. Truly nasty spirituality. May the Lord shine his bright and beautiful light through to these lost souls and bring them back to their Father.
