As a Lux main, playing an immobile mage with hexflash is usually not the move. It requires team interaction to make plays most of the time you will use it. Instead I go for protobelt and take a more aggressive/ scaling rune secondary such as CDR or gathering storm. Also it is a lot more valuable to max your shield second since the shield value is ridiculous with all the ap and Q root duration doesn’t increase
